Customer Ratings & Reviews

it was very easy to download the application to my IPAD and view my favorite youtube videos on my T.v.

I love this product. I have used it for presentations for small groups in my apartment, watching movies, etc. It's really easy to use and set up.

Streaming quality is great, no instructions as to hooking up to home theater receiver for surround sound. Help?

I love this gadget... I use it to watch Netflix and YouTube on my big screen LCD in the great room. Just amazed at how easy to set up and use...

Easy to use - good quality. Great for NetFlix, YouTube, etc but can't ChromeCast from my tablet - only laptop.

still prefer my roku over this for a media device, but i suppose if you want the novelty of casting stuff off your phone or tablet this does well

Crime cast delivers. The picture quality is excellent and no buffering stops encounter. I am going to buy a second one for the family room:-) .

The chromecast is pretty cool for 35 bucks you get a lot, what's cool is sharing games from tablet and laptop.

Chromecast is good if you have another standalone streaming box, like Apple TV. Reason being, you will need another device, like phone or tablet to stream content. I have one in the living room, so when I need to stream something quickly, like an You Tube video or pictures, it works pretty well. When watching movies, like from Netflix, I'd prefer to stream from the Apple TV or the PS3 - The phone / tablet battery will drain event and the stream will go off.

This is a pretty cool gadget. Definitely a good present for a friend that's addicted to Netflix =P

It does what it's supposed to do. I don't like that I'm so limited to things to stream and i can only do it on my phone and no option of a remote.

It's great to watch Neflix on my tv without using my consoles, but it needs to get more apps, like Google Chrome.

it is easy to use and with a little looking around u can find other apps so u dont have to use just the google apps and or cloud to watch things

If I didn't live on netflix I wouldn't have liked it. But I do like that I can plug it a TV or a Projector and that device is now instantly Netflix capable. The Computer can cast the chrome web page. I'll like it when Windows media player and other programs build in the casting option. But for the price it's really nice. Set up is a little wonky, but I think that's because google way oversimplified instructions in an effort to make you think it was easy set up. Ironically, if the instructions had been more descriptive, could have been an easy set up.

Good device for those who don't have a Smart TV or those who don't want to spend a lot of money on media devices.

For the price it certainly beats out a Roku. Hopefully they will add some other applications like Hulu Plus, etc.

Awesome product at a great price. Bought 1 6 months ago, and was so impressed I bought 1 for my dad for Xmas! Easy to set up, easy to use!!!

Great device, easy to setup and got 3 month netflix membership.Looking for more apps which can support chromecast.

Product works very well. No problems installing it and great picture quality The only complaint I have is that is difficult to open the box.

The chromecast is fast and easy to use. I only wish that there were more applications available for it. Native Amazon video support would be nice.
