Great for watching online on your TV

After a few days of using it, I got one for every TV in the house! You can control them from a smart phone, a tablet, a laptop, a pc. so many options!! The only problem that I have had is using it for travel. Most wireless networks require some sort of web based authentication process, which is not possible on the chromecast. I used my smart phone's mobile hotspot data. This is a bad idea, because the chromecast is almost constantly using some bandwidth.

Good for the money.

Only issue I've run into is that it interferes severely with over-the-air digital antennas. If you have cable or satellite service you will be ok. In my case, I have to disconnect it after I'm done watching my movie. This limits it's usefulness and I can't use it regularly to view Chrome browser pages on the TV, 'cuz it's too much effort to install and remove it after every use.
