This is a great product however; it sometimes stops casting the screen for no apparent reason.

Great for streaming from your computer, smartphone or tablet. More apps would be great though.

This has really been great to be able to stream to the tv that isn't internet capable already.

I got the Google Chrome to add to a tv mounted on a wall. This installed very easily, is hidden out of way and didn't require a separate power source. I have a smartTV and an AppleTV in other areas of my house. We use all to access Netflix. With Google Chrome you need a computer, tablet or phone to choose what you want to watch. I prefer being able to make the selection on the TV (as I do with AppleTV and my smartTV)

Use it to stream videos and catch up on missed shows. Super easy set up. Great little device.

Theres no reason not to have one. Stream youtube, netflix, hulu and alot more from your phone

Everything is great. Easy to setup. The only problem is that it lacks apps that work with this.

I have both a Chromecast and Amazon Firestick, and have found that the Chromecast is less functional, more frustrating, and vastly inferior to the Amazon Fire Stick. I've since retired the Chromecast for emergency hotel/travel duties when my forget the Fire stick, which is rare.

You can't beat $30 bucks to be able to share Netflicks, etc. to any TV with an HDMI port. Easy to use from multiple devices, and portable. The first one I purchased did not broadcast an SSID so I had to take it back and exchange, thus the "average" on ease of installation. Without the return trip to Best Buy to swap it out, I would have said "excellent".

It's really feels great to be able to make a dumb TV smart. This is a device you want to try.

I tried to connect using my Dell Venue tablet for setup, couldn't, but was able to with Asus tablet. Can watch and connect with Dell tablet now that setup. Easy to connect with most apps, Hulu, Netflix, YouTube. Not sure if uses more data or same as tablet because I can't control once goes to TV. Nor can I pause a show, haven't been able to find good help.

Product is easy use, almost easier than cable! Too bad there is not more streaming content.

Easy to use, it will be great to see what this product will develop into future enhancements.

Sweet Gadget! Streams my media from my tablet and smart phone to my TV! All at a great price!

My wife and I ordered this to test it against our Roku boxes (which we LOVE), but didn't (at the time) have access to ShowtimeAnytime (Now it is available on Roku). Long story short, the ChromeCast was a breeze to setup. Plug it in, and follow the on-screen prompts to connect your notebook to the device and subsequently connect the ChromeCast to your wireless network. After this, though, the device was virtually useless. We attempted to stream ShowtimeAnytime from two different notebooks (mid-range Windows 8 notebooks). Yes the tab streamed to the TV, but not well enough that we were (in any capacity) happy with the quality. Without ChromeCast plugged in the stream ran perfectly in the browser, but as soon as we pushed it to the ChromeCast, the quality and performance was less than usable.

I liked the way it stream the youtube, but give 3 stars because I cant mirror IOS device screen.
