Terrific screencaster

Excellent at displaying files from your computer or other device on the bigscreen. Not a streaming device like the Roku or Apple TV per se - tho more and more app-like channels are being included. Excellent toe in the water to over-the-top / IP viewing. In fact, I'm now on my second: My college-aged son "borrowed" my first one.

Chrome Cast

I love that you can watch Netflix or YouTube on your phone to the TV without using the Phone's battery because the Chrome Cast uses the WiFi to play the videos. The only downfall that I wish i could see with Chrome Cast would be screen mirroring or sharing without using the internet to send the screen, almost like plugging in an HDMI cord directly to the TV. That would be Awesome.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excelent when you work with the apps like youtube or netflix, but when you star to stream videos or content from your pc that its not in the internet you need a lot of resourses from your PC, so if you have a old laptop this will drain your resources (Ram & Processor) I am sure that when google add more apps this will be better, you get what you pay
