It's not so great for streaming your own music though and streaming from your laptop requires using chrome as your browser. The quality is poor and typing in the locations isn't very convenient. The cord is a drag and it can get quite warm to hot quickly. The price coupled with the over all product is fantastic though. I will be using this with my NAS and for a very long time

Great for what it says it will do

It makes it simple to stream internet videos from my laptop to the TV. This is great for my wife who watches a lot of South Korean videos from the web. I wanted to be able to watch shows that I have stored on my laptop, but it does not support that. Hopefully I can find an eventual work around to that.

Good but not great

Mostly it works well but sometimes when you switch to HDMI input of the TV with Chromcast it doesn't detect it and you have to unplug and plug it back in. Sometimes there is a little buffering when projecting from a tablet or an iPad. But for $35 it is worth it.
