Very easy to set up

On my Windows 7 laptop, and my MacBook Pro I can broadcast the web page to my 52" flat screen TV. My iPad can only "cast" Netflix and YouTube the same as my iPhone. Overall, it was a great purchase.

It will not work with an ipod touch 4th generation so my son has to borrow my phone to change his shows. You can't scroll through available apps like on roku doesn't have that option. Wish I would of bought amazon fire stick instead

Great product at amazing price

That it got my girlfriend to ditch Apple TV for her Hulu watching speaks to its simplicity and dependability. She's usually the type who just sticks with what she knows. It's not perfect, of course. In the past 3 weeks I had to reset it once. But that's the worse I can say.

Once it's setup you'll see the Chromecast logo and a basic Home Screen with some of the first apps available for Chromecast. A lot of development is going into it, so expect to see more apps from the Google Play store work with your TV. See your phone/tablet/computer more of a remote, rather than an actual streaming device.

Not bad, but not great either
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Chromecast has tons of potential, but you cannot cast your cell phone photos on an Android device without 3rd party software and setup was not as straightforward as the commercials would have you believe. That being said, it DOES work and will likely get better over time...for the price, its worth picking up and playing around with.
