I bought it seeing it work in my cousin's house. I tried installing it and had lots of trouble. Google wants to pour in several tracking when you are trying to install it. I don't want to be tracked so it made it so difficult for me to install first. Now it plays from time to time like it has its brain and picking when it want to work and cooperate. In the mean time 15 days has passed so I am stuck with the device. Can't return it and can't use it.

My 95 year old mom cannot see very well so seeing youtube and other streaming stuff on her big screen TV is great. Hopefully in the future I will be able to use the chromecast help her see photos.

I purchased the chromecast to watch Netflix. It has been great, but after a while it locks up and you have to quit watching or wait for it to reload. Overall good purchase for what I wanted it for!

Absolutely great value for what you get compared to the price. Still cannot get why a chromecast with the the name chrome in it is not completely compatible with all chrome products. Especially android which google makes and controls.....

Does not automatically connect with the Linksys EA6900 router. You have to call Linksys to get it to work and it takes some time. Google needs to update this so it can be more easilly configurable.

We were having problems accessing all of the available programming on Netflix through our dvd player. With this we can access all of Netflix programming and "cast" it from our cell phones or tablets and watch it on our 60" television.

I have installed two of the Chromecast devices in my house. They are much cheaper than Roku and Apple TV and as far as I can tell, they work just as well. I expect to be able to cut my cable cord (as soon as ESPN starts its own service!).

Was a bit disappointed that product didn't work with my Android tablet, but did work with smartphone. Product hasn't performed as well as expected.

It took me a few min to setup it. Then I was watching movies from my ipad. I love it. A soon as you put stream a movie through chromecast in your ipad or smart phone it goes immediately to the tv

It was a little odd using the phone and ipad to control, but it's a nifty little device. It would be nice if more media apps on the iPad worked with it, but I'm happy with the YouTube and Netflix.

I don't know if the 1st one I purchased was defective but I had to replace it. The HDMI part that plugs into the tv bent very easily and it would not connect. Here's hoping this one lasts longer!

If your network is 2.4 Ghz and you are happy with 720p resolution, this is a great product. Setup is simple, plug it into a HDMI port, download Chromecast add-in and you're off and running.

We have been very satisfied with this device over its entire life to present. My only concern for the older model was that it only supported 2.4GHz, but newer versions include support for the newer wireless standards.

tend to skip and pause when i stream from my tablet. when it works it works well. haven't figure out what causes it to pause. and sometimes it just dies and I have to restart the casting.

Purchased this one for my sister so she could watch Netflix on her television instead of breaking her neck watching it on her tablet. I own 3 of these these Google Chromecasts myself - love them. Perfect if you don't own a Smart TV.

I use my Chromecast everyday to catch up on shows and watch movies. I've enjoyed my experience with the product over the last two months. It's awesome that the Pandora app can be used with the Chromecast. Overall, I love the Chromecast

I'm sure this is a good device that works well on other platforms, unfortunately after calling customer service they stated it doesn't "work well" with Apple devices...had to return it! :-(

This product is wonderful gift for my college-age daughter to view tv shows and videos from hulu and netflix. It's a wonderful product for grandparents to view homemade videos of the grandkids on a big screen versus smartphone screeen.

It works well. No problems so far. Toaster and oven works very well. My other ovens were wider and was hoping to re-use some of those parts. Also, just one rack level setting. Attractive design.

This product is great if you have Google's All Music Access and want to listen to the music on your home stereo. My TV doesn't even need to be on, I control it all with my phone. I've been using it every day for the last month and love it.
