I wish there was an easier to stream mlb.tv and nhl.tv to the tv. Those looking for a cable alternative will have to keep waiting, but this little guy did everything as advertised.

I order two of these and one malfunctioned within the first few weeks. I contacted Google and once I sent them my proof of purchase I received a new one within a week.

I bought this for my Son-in-Law and he loved it. I'm not sure what it is or how it works, but it's what he wanted. He was happy and after looking around for it, from what I could see it was a great price.

It's not bulky and does the job, but you need to download software prior to using with your phone. If you already have a media player or Playstation, you won't need this. If you have a smart tv, you won't need this.

The only issue was that I had to boost my wifi signal to use my chrome. My house is setup for wifi so never had this issue but all that meant was moving my box to a more centralized location and then we were good to go.

Do not expect to send everything, only what is showing in your chrome browser in your computer not on your phone. From phone you can send You Tube, Netflix and Google Play (not free)

Ok for streaming if you use google compatible browser. Does not bring much added value to smart TV, which has applications installed.

I use this to stream video to my TV. I used to use an HDMI cable and have to sit my laptop next to the TV, but those days have passed.

This is one awesome piece of device. Now we can see all Youtube videos on our TV,

Chromecast works very good. It is fun and allows me to broadcast YouTube, Pandora, etc. to my TV. It was more difficult to install than I expected, but so far was worth the effort

No bells, no frills. It lets you cast your phone to the TV. This device works as advertised, but I would recommend a ROKU or FireTV Stick instead.

Just found that it will automatically set itself on the proper input of your Samsung TV when activated on your Samsung cell phone!!! your can't beat this for the price. Other compatible gadgets go for at least a $99.00

I am loving Chromecast! It was easy to set up. Basically my TV did all the work. I am watching way more Netflix movies and also watching Netflix original series. I could not be happier for what I received for the price.

I bought this to replace the use of HDMI for my laptop in my living room (cord was way too long). It works as good as an HDMI cable for netflix and youtube, however they're are some issues with casting chrome tabs.

This was a Christmas gift for someone who needs nothing. It was a useful gift and he liked it. Lets you watch your favorite online TV shows on your big screen tv with no wires connecting the two. Love no wires. Wireless

I liked the idea of being able to stream anything from Chrome to my TV and the price seemed very reasonable. I was unfortunately underwhelmed. Video and audio lagged horribly from my browser. Integrated app support (YouTube, HBO GO, Netflix) worked well, but I often lost the ability to control the video after my iPhone fell asleep. And the most important app -- Chrome mobile -- wasn't supported. Sticking with my Apple TV for now.

I really like this gadget. I do wish the options were a little better tho, and I wish it would stream right from any site on your smart phone or tablet. That would be awesome!

I really like it except when you have to switch what your watching on Netflix because it won't respond to my device and I have to restart the app on my phone or the chromecast.

Easy to configure, but requires Google Chrome and an up-to-date computer. At least Mac OS 10.6 in my case. Streams Netflix, Hulu Plus, YouTube to an HDTV screen from any computer.

The chromecast is great at what it does and it still frees up your android phone or tablet after start up the only problem I see is lack of apps but with the release of the sdk to developers that's going to change fast
