Great idea but flops. Bought to replace a Logitech revue, but it has very few apps. The promise of being able to play a video on your mobile device sounds great but it's way too jerky and slow for things that don't have the "cast" option, and not many videos have that option. Also a pain to control playback. We'll be returning it for a Roku.

I have really been enjoying using my Chromcast with my phone, tablet, and computer, would deff recommend you make sure you have a fast internet sputtered before using

It's a great device and for the price is very nice. Only thing is that it heats up alot.

This is a great device for watching you tube videos on your tv...if it could mirror your own photos and videos it would be 5 stars!

It was a little hard to get setup but once it finally works it's a great use for playing YouTube videos or movies from Google Play

I love this device, but sometimes it doesnt work. When it does work it is amazing. Make sure you have a good connection to your internet or it wont stream properly.

Awesome device for movie nights or just watching your favorite tv shows or videos with your family or friends. Can't wait to see more compatibility with other apps.

I used it all the time with my tv to play netflix, youtube etc. Works very well from Google chrome too from my windows laptop!!

I love the chromecast. It gives me easy acess to my Netflix, HBO to go and Hulu. The HD is great. I love my gadget I recommend it to my family and it is cheat also.

I would say overall good investment for the cost, I watch most movies on Netflix which the chromecast supports very well. Buy it!

Excellent..my daughter and my husband love this product..they can used to watch their favorite movies in the big screen, instead of using the cellphone. Love it

I heard they will be adding miracast. Hopefully it will be soon. If/when they do I would rate this 5 stars as long as it works ; )

A great product if you don't want to buy a new Smart TV streamed everything off my phone tablet and computer to my TV with ease

Can not stream videos right now there are not enough apps that are compatibale google chrome.

Very disappointed! I live on a farm. No high speed internet. I have unlimited data on my cell phone that I stream from but this requires me to connect to my limited metered WiFi. Why does it then use my WiFi network to stream instead of my phone? Its like the phone only initializes the transfer then backs off. That's not advertised. Very disappointed. Stream quality was good for the few hours I could use it

The Google chromecast is a great investment. We are very happy with it and all things it comes in handy for. Great source for entertainment, & very affordable.

I bought this product and wasn't quite sure. I was hoping that I could use this to mirror my entire laptop screen and it works like a charm with the latest update!

I don't have 80 words for anything but lets try. Chromecast is great and I highly reccomend it for everyone. The full screen share is in Beta but I works great.

However, I have run into problems several times when it will not cast. Even when the internet connection is fine, the chromecast device is properly installed, the computer is at a proper distance and all other instructions followed, sometimes it will not cast from the computer to the television screen. When it does work, it is great.
