Works great for Netflix, Youtube. Does not work well with Chrome browser video stream on laptop.

My only complaint is that I don't have enough time to enjoy the many shows available to me now that I have my chrome cast.

It would not work on my DLP using a HDMI to DVI adapter. It works great on newer TVs though.

so far it works great with netflix and utube...wish they had other programs i could use with it.

Sets up in seconds thru Chrome. Cannot figure out how to get sound for videos to play properly

I bought the Chromecast to see it work and how well it showed my browser. It did what it was supposed to do. I don't use the movie streaming features so I don't know how well those work. Connecting to it with each source is a bit slow, but once connected it works okay.

It only works with you tube and your laptop connections no mirroring and nothing else . Netflix through your device only very,little option at present time . Hope they continue to support it seems like it going to fade away if they don't hurry up and catch up. ( Roku 3 ) example .

its a nice item to have if you stream videos or want to see your screen a little bit bugger.

This device is not comparable with Apple TV and requires additional controller to work with

Was looking at either the Apple TV or Roku 3 device when I decided to go with Google ChromeCast device. I mostly went with the Google device because it was so cheap. I would say most of the time it works really well, but because I can't hard wire it to the internet, sometimes the signal does drop due to the great Time Warner Cable Router I have.

This is perfect for anyone who has multiple devices they want to stream onto their tv. I would highly recommend this product.

Chromecast has worked exactly as promised. It was easy for me to install the device and app (pretty tech savvy). Love it!

netflix and youtube work perfectly from anything on your wifi. cell phones tablets and pc/laptop. i have one in every room!

We were very disappointed because there was no good customer support from Google. The item came with no written instructions. We had to go on internet to get basic information about how to start it. Although we were able to get still "screen saver" photos, we could not find how to run items off of our computer, which is why we bought it.

This product is so great with my new samsung tablet and tv. being able to switch from my tablet and watch on my tv is great.

Could not connect to TV with any of my android devices.

Difficult to set-up; not enough clear instructions for set-up. To date, it has not worked!

Not bad for the money. I think it is worth about $20 only. Maybe if other apps worked with it, it would be worth more money.
