Can watch only few depend on app. I want to watch everything from my android phone.

I was very disappointed in this product. There are hardly any apps that work with it.

My roommate and I purchased this and returned it. I'm not sure if this was just our TV, but it froze a lot.

This is a waste of money. We recently spent several weeks in a hotel and hoped this would work with the internet in the hotel room. After repeatedly trying to get it connected to the Hotel's internet, we gave up and had to watch everything either live on the TV or via our Apple TV (it didn't work as well as we wanted it to in a hotel either). Also, the quality of picture is less than acceptable.

We were told this would work on mirroring my kindle on my tv, it isn't compatible.

No one tells you that you have to download a whole bunch of apps and other items.

Felt like salesperson sort of led me astray. Still cannot get it to work properly.

It would lose connection with the wireless service most of the time, even when it is only 2ft away from the router.

It just won't connect. I am pretty tech davy but I have deemed Chromecast useless.

Should stream whatever app you use on tablet smartphone laptop...not just netflix, you tube, google movies google music

This is great when friends and family gather; everyone can connect to the network with their smartphones, tablets and/or laptops, and we take turns feeding youtube videos, blogs, pictures, or whatever else we want to share with everyone on the TV with the Chromecast installed. Additionally, I play old school tabletop RPGs, and I can use my big screen tv to show my players reference images, maps, or other information from my computer. The only downside is that I haven't found a convenient/effective utility/app that allows me to stream video files directly from my laptop to my television. But, I'm confident Google is working on that, and it'll come out soon. For $35, this is a tough value to beat!

the problems with Wi-Fi are constant. I had my internet company check and there was nothing wrong with my internet.

Even after installing recommended updates, downloads, app, etc., we could not make this work with our Asus Tablet.

This was a waste of money - I recommend to pass on his product. you can get better result with Roku type products.

I wanted this for my old plasma but didn't work well had to return it.

The picture was awful. I realize that the resolution on my computer is not as good as on my tv. So that is more than likely the problem. Either way I expected much better. Having a small screen project to a large screen with no change to make it better just isn't worth having. I would never use it. I wound up buying a smart blu ray player instead with a full browser. Works awesome.

store employee neglected to tell me it needed windows 7 or better, unfortunately my notebook only has windows xp

It conect to Chanel Tv very fast. But when i quit that one and conect to internet it is very slow.

It wasn't working well for me and I didn't want to download google chrome which it requires. I returned it.

My wife but this google crome device because she was excited about it. However, it turned out it was not so great. If you hook your laptop to your tv directly, you are better off. Don't waste your money.
