Good for the price tag. Stick gets really hot. The cord is WAY too short.

I was told about his product and check the reviews online before purchasing it. It is the vest investment I have purchase in a long time.

I bought this because I figured it would be a better alternative to using an hdmi cord + converter for my mac. I've definitely been using it more often than the hdmi cord and I love it. The only thing that I don't like about the product is that I can only chromecast youtube videos off of my phone and tablet.

Its took me 2 minute to set-up, and best thing when I click on to Cromecast from my lap-top, its automatic go to Hdmi port. So I do not need to change anything on TV. And I add my favourite Indian Show on tool bar, so just one click and watch all show in HD. Just watched Ramleela. No lagging. Love it and LIke it. Excellent Product at very low price compare to other.

What a great idea, love this little invention from Google, best think they have done. Casting your videos to your TV from your smartphone is a very cool and easy thing to do.

Bought this for a TV that wasn't set up for wireless or connected to a Blue ray. Works perfectly and as advertised. All I wanted was to be able to get my Netflix on this TV and that's exactly what I got and more. Using the Chrome browser you can chromecast your webpages, Netflix, Youtube, etc. It works from your phone or laptop and set up and use couldn't be easier.

I pre-ordered through google play for myself but this one is my third chromecast purchase, gifting this one to my sis. definitely recommend

I brought this as a gift for my sister and myself. My sister has no problems but mine started to freeze up.

Chromecast is easy to set up and use. Can stream from your Chrome browser on your PC, from your tablet (Android 4.4+ supports Screen mirroring), or phone to any Chromecast-enabled TV on the same WiFi network. Price is also great. However the Best thing to me is if you have Android 4.4 or higher you can just Cast screen. which works great on my Note 3 Phone

I bought this to show amazon instant video on my TV from my laptop. It didn't work. I found out sites that use Silverlight (like amazon) or Quick Time won't work. You can however disable Silverlight on your Chrome browser (type in: chrome://plugins/) and it will work using Flash instead - which allows the Chromecast to work for amazon. It's very taxing on your WiFi as it's streaming to both your laptop AND your TV/Chromecast at the same time, so that was causing delays on the Chromecast. Another work around is to use the hardwire to your laptop and WiFI to the Chromecast (be sure to turn off WIFi on your laptop). It did work well with YouTube and I presume Netflix would work OK. But either amazon needs to change, or Chromecast needs to change to allow more content to work AND without having to research work-arounds to get it to work right.

The device allows you to "cast" whatever you are doing in Google Chrome to your HDTV but that's where pros end. I have several issues with this product. 1- it would not log in to my home network when I tried setting it up from my desktop. I even changed my wifi password but no success. I eventually used my laptop to complete the setup. After that I could cast from either computer and my android. 2- Google does not have any tech support for this item. No phone number or chat option; just an online forum. 3- Android apps that are "cast enabled" do not allow you to cast directly from the app #ESPN Watch, You Tube...#. I had to cast my phone's screen then open the app. This prevented me from using my phone for something else while casting. I posted the issue in the forum only to find out several other people are having the same problem. The bottom line is this device is only useful if need to view your web browser on your TV or if you do not have a smart TV. For $35 it may be worth that little luxury.

No reason to get Apple TV or Roku. I got the Roku, but returned it. I was not ready to spend $100 to watch Youtube on my tv. But at $35, this is totally worth it. Very easy to set up. Now I do not need a smart tv. Google is going to force Apple to invent something new, if they can.

This is a no brainer for $35 dollars or less. I find myself mainly using it for youtube videos although I have also used it for Netflix. Its kind of a set it and forget it kind of thing. Its there ready to use in a moments notice when I need/want it. I find that it compliments the Apple TV well.

Bought on Black Friday. Opened box, plugged into TV and set-up. I was watching Netflix from my IPad in 5 minutes. I love it!

I liked so much i would like to use it on all my tv untill i cam get a smart tv in my living room.

I bought this so I can make an older TV into a smart TV. Works great with my Samsung Galaxy phone. I am happy with my purchase.

I hate the clunky Samsung "smartTV" interface (so slow and have to use the TV remote) so I'm really happy being able to use my iDevices to quickly get to where or what I want. We did see some slow buffering issues on the first day, but since then it's been great. Now I'm thinking of picking up more so we can use them around the rest of the house!

This item works great for the inexpensive cost. Its great to use for your Netflix, YouTube and HBOGO apps. The only issues I have with it is when your phone or whatever you are controlling the device with gets disconnected, I haven't found a way to reconnect back to the video in progress to control it. If I want to stop something, pause it or change the video I usually have to unplug it and reset. The other issue is that the wifi connectivity on the Chromecast is not that strong. You can not get too far from your router/modem before it gets spotty connections. I placed it on a TV on a lower level in my house from my modem and it would not stay connected but later tried an Xbox in the same HDMI port and it worked perfectly. Overall though I am satisfied with my purchase.
