Didn't receive what I paid for
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Product is great, but I pre ordered during promo period and requested the free band that comes with the pre-order. When order became ready free band was not included. The manager Mike at the Buford Ga location was so rude to me and questioned whether I even ordered the promo. I have been shopping at best buy for a over 20 years and probably won't be back.

Disappointed
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When it wanted to work, it was great. Several days over a one month period it recorded steps/distance severely below actual levels (tested on known walking loop). Messed with it for a month and I'm done with it. Glad it works for other people, but it's a hard no for me.

Posted .Hey there, JONS. We’re sorry to hear that the step tracking hasn’t been the best on the Fitbit Air. To help improve your tracking, make sure your height is set correctly in the app, as the device uses this to estimate your stride length. If your stride is longer or shorter than average, you may want to manually adjust those settings. Additionally, wearing the device snugly on your wrist can help improve consistency. If you're still seeing issues, we’d be happy to look into this further with you: https://support.google.com/googlehealth/gethelp

VERY USEFUL!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was really happy with the Fitbit Air. I thought it would be good for tracking my sleep because I do not like wearing a smart watch when I am sleeping.. It turned out to be great for a lot of other things too. Design : At first I wore the Fitbit Air on my wrist but then I started wearing it on the same wrist as my smart watch. The Fitbit Air does not have a screen, which's actually a good thing. It is small and light so it does not get in the way. It looks like a bracelet, which is nice. I like the color it is called Rye. It has a bit of orange and brown in it. The metal part of the Fitbit Air is a titanium color that matches my smart watch. I also like wearing the Fitbit Air when I am working out. It is light and small so it does not bother me. The band is made of a material that absorbs sweat, which is nice. But it can get stained,. I have to be careful what I do when I am wearing it. performance: I really like the Fitbit Air because it tracks my activity all the time. It even tracks how calories I burn when I am sleeping. This is really helpful because it helps me understand how calories I need to eat to lose weight. My smart watch does not do this so I am really happy with the Fitbit Air. It also tracks how steps I take, which is a good way to see how much I am moving around. The Fitbit Air also lasts a time on one charge. I wore it for 7 days without charging it. It still had 20% battery left. It only takes 30 minutes to charge which is really fast. This is great because I can wear it all the time even when I am sleeping. the useful ai: The Fitbit Air comes with an AI coach that helps me with my health and fitness goals. I was not sure if I would like it. It has been really helpful. It gives me suggestions for workouts. Reminds me to take breaks when I need to. It even tells me when the weather is good for going for a walk. The AI coach is really smart. It learns what I like to do. It knows that I use a Peloton and a Tonal and it gives me suggestions for workouts based on what I need to do. It is like having a trainer but it is just a computer program. Overall: I am really happy with the Fitbit Air. It is a device that helps me track my health and fitness. It is light and small. It looks nice. The AI coach is an useful feature that helps me achieve my goals. I would definitely recommend the Fitbit Air to anyone who wants to get healthier and more fit. The Fitbit Air is a choice because it is affordable and it works well with my iPhone. It is also really good at tracking my activity and my sleep. The AI coach is an addition it gives me helpful suggestions and reminders. I am really happy with the Fitbit Air. I think it is a great choice, for anyone who wants to get healthier.

Best way to track your health...
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Now that I am in my 70s and having survived a host of medical maladies including heart bypass surgery and sleep apnea, I wanted a simple easy way to better track some of my vital health information. My cardiologist even recommended I wear a smart watch to keep track of things like pulse and blood oxygen, but I never felt comfortable wearing a watch to bed and the watch app diagnostics were cryptic, at least to me. Along comes the new Fitbit Air from Google, the answer to everything I was looking for in a comfortable and stylish wrist band. I opted for the Special Edition Stephen Curry model, not so much for the benefits of its band tailored for sweaty workouts, but because I just prefer the more subtle flesh tone color of the band. I’ve been wearing the Fitbit Air for just about a week, although I discovered I was wearing it incorrectly for much of that time with the sensor oriented to the underside of my wrist. Oops! Obviously, I missed something, but there were minimal instructions and the QR code I scanned from the box wasn’t working. Once I got that sorted out, all attention goes to the Google Health app, which integrates Fitbit Air’s tracking into a comprehensive app that tracks just about everything from calories consumed and burned to how much water you drink. There’s a lot of information to explore inside the app and I am still learning. You do have the option to subscribe to a program to get coaching advice, best for if you are interested in setting fitness or weight maintenance goals. I find Fitness Air to be a great way of tracking my health that fits into my daily routine perfectly. Most of the time, I don’t even realize I have it on. Since there is no display, I wear it on my right wrist so that I can still wear my smartwatch on my left and not interfere. The Google Health app is easy and even fun to use as it gives me 24/7 information on my pulse, my sleep habits, blood oxygen, and more. I also have sinus bradycardia, which is an abnormally slow heartbeat, so this provides me with a complete historical record for future health checkups with my medical care team. Battery use is amazing as I wore the Fitbit Air for a week and battery life dropped to below 10% in that time, and it’s charging as I write this and nearly fully charged in about 45 minutes, complete with a notification sent to my iPhone. This means I can get it back on my wrist for another week with little interruption. I really like the fact that I can send myself notifications if it detects irregular heart rhythms and if my pulse exceeds high or low thresholds. No doubt this information could be a life saver. In just one week, Google Fitness Air has become an integral part of my life. I look forward to its gathering and summarizing vital health information in the Google Health app into a comprehensive snapshot of my overall health.

Great minimalist health tracker!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a cool option for people who want to keep track of their health stats and daily steps and things without having to wear a bulky smartwatch. I went with the Stephen Curry edition just because I liked the color of it better than the other available colors. Out of the box it just looks like a bracelet, and really nothing more than that, till you look at the bottom side and there is where you will see all of the electronics and sensors that capture the data. It is very lightweight and comfortable to wear. The strap is completely adjustable to fit any wrist size very comfortably. You will notice it sticks up a little bit where the sensors are, and you have to make sure you have a snug fit so that the part with the sensors don’t rotate around your wrist or you won’t get accurate readings. For many years I have worn Garmin Fenix smartwatches, which are considered to be sone of the best you can buy. I was interested to put this head-to-head with that watch to see how the data matched up. This band measures steps, calories, distance traveled, resting heart rate, target heart rate, Respiration rate, Blood oxygen, Duration of exercise, Hours slept, Duration of sleep stages. All of which can also be measured on my other smartwatch. So, I put them to the test and wore one on one wrist and one on the other for a few days to see how things lined up. I have to say, I was pretty surprised at how close the data was. On an average day I usually do about 12,000-15,000 steps. I found these watches to be within about 500-1000 steps difference between each other, which I think is extremely close. Resting heart rate was within a couple beats, sleep data was kind of hit or miss. Some nights it was pretty close, others it was not as close. But I have always found the sleep data to never be all that accurate on any smartwatch and can fluctuate quite a bit. When I did activities like bike riding, I found the measurement of calories burned to be very similar as well. The one thing this watch doesn’t have is any kind of GPS, so if you are doing things like biking or hiking it will not track your location. If you are looking for a very basic device to measure your heath data, I think this is a great option. Its very lightweight and comfortable to wear during the day and even while sleeping. You will probably forget its even there. It also does a great job of measuring all of your data as well. And for the price, it can’t be beat! Plus, if you are one of those people that hates looking at your watch every time you get a notification, you will enjoy the freedom that this screenless device offers.

So comfortable!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A fantastic little tracker with quite a few features for the money. The Steph Curry band itself is quite nice and very comfortable. I also bought an additional Performance band which is nice as well but the Steph Curry band has extra grippy material inside that keeps it from moving around on my wrist. I think it’s probably worth the extra $30. Both bands are incredibly comfortable though and much lighter than other trackers I’ve used. Other bands are still good but I tend to forget that I’m even wearing this. With this kind of tracker, I’d prefer not to have to track my workouts manually so I was particularly interested in how well it can track my running, cycling, and gym workouts. It does quite a good job at cycling, running, and HIIT style workouts but it doesn’t seem to detect my strength workouts. The app is kind of a mixed bag. The main metrics are great like the Readiness feature, sleep tracking, and cardio load. Those all make sense to me for tracking my workout load, how well I’ve slept, and how well I’ve recovered. The AI feedback can be interesting where it can provide suggestions based on some of my health stats, like to take it easy if I had a bad night of sleep or to try to get more sleep if I had a big workout day. It can be very useful information but also can be a lot to read though - there’s at least a few paragraphs of feedback for every “event” in my day, so a block of text after I wake up, after each workout, sometimes in the middle of the day, and then at the end of the day. I quite like interacting with the AI coach though where I can chat with it to set up training plans or health goals and it can integrate those goals into all the daily feedback. I thought the coolest thing was that I could simply tell it my gym routine about which exercises I did, the sets/reps, as well as weight, and it would just add that to my workout details. So much easier to do than entering it manually. 3 month of the AI features are included with the band and after that it’s $99/year. I think it’s probably worth it especially considering how cheap the band itself is and how the subscription is much cheaper than other options out there. I think there’s some work to be done with the app to make it a bit easier to digest some of the information but I’ve enjoyed using this band.

Great Tracking, No Screen = No Distractions
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Smartwatches are too annoying now. They buzz your wrist for every junk email, blind you in bed, and need a charge every single day. The Fitbit Air Steph Curry Edition goes the opposite way. It has no screen. It is just a small tracker tucked into a tough textile band. If you want to log your data without a constant digital leash, this is a breath of fresh air. Ditching the display changes everything. You do not swipe through menus or deal with accidental touches. It sits flush and weighs almost nothing. Older trackers I used would flash awake at 3 AM if I rolled over. This one stays black. The Curry strap feels solid, stays secure, and dries fast when you sweat. You forget it is even on your wrist. All the data goes straight to the Google Health app. Most trackers dump a mountain of raw charts in your lap and leave you to figure it out. This app uses Gemini AI to translate those numbers into plain English. You wake up to a quick summary explaining your sleep quality and recovery. It tells you exactly how your body is doing instead of making you guess based on a weird graph. The automatic workout tracking works perfectly. You do not need to press start before a run, a lift, or a basketball game. It just senses the movement and logs the activity. It monitors everything from your resting heart rate to skin temperature changes. It is an easy way to spot trends or realize you are running on empty before you completely crash. The battery easily lasts a full week because it does not have to power a mini display. My only complaint is that the app pushes a premium subscription for the deepest AI insights after the trial. But even on the standard tier, getting elite biometric tracking for under a hundred bucks is an excellent deal. This is good engineering that respects your attention span.

Stylish & Excellent Fitness & Health Metrics
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the Stephan Curry Special Edition band on this screenless Fitbit. But I would miss the watch function and being able to monitor my heart rate and other metrics in real time on my wrist, except that I'm also wearing my Pixel 3 watch on the other wrist. They co-exist in the Google Health app with no problem. The Special Edition Stephan Curry band is a woven material with a Velcro like hook & loop clasp that can adjust to any size wrist. It stays put mostly but did come undone once while I was sleeping. It's very handsome and could be worn just as a fashion band with or without the Fitbit. The Fitbit "pebble" itself seems very durable and protected since it sits under the overlapping band. It's waterproof so you can shower or go swimming in it. Water doesn't seem to have any adverse effects on the woven band. The batter life is good. Starting at 100% I've worn it for 7 days straight with workouts every day and it's just now at 15%. I put it on the charger just before starting to write this review and after 30 minutes of charging the battery is at 92%. The Google Health Premium app with 3 months free is the strength of this Fitbit. It gives you personalized feedback throughout the day and following every workout session. You see how you're sleeping, sleep stages, recovering, readiness, daily & weekly cardio load, heart rate, heart rate variability, blood oxygen, steps, distance, calories burned, and active zone minutes. It's great for those who are serious about their fitness and track it daily. You can also import your health data and history from medical providers which I did, and it gave me an AI summary of my overall health and fitness based on my actual medical history, medications, and lab results. That is a great feature in my opinion. Overall if you don't mind going screenless then this Special Edition Stephan Curry Fitbit is a stylish way to go. Or do like me, and wear both it and something with a screen on the other wrist.

Neat and Mostly Complete
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.[PROS] Comfortable: The lightweight design makes the device extremely pleasant to wear in most if not all scenarios. The most common scenario for me has been for exercising and sleeping. In both situations, I barely notice the Fitbit Air is there which is by design. Lengthy Battery: My Fitbit Air lasted 6.5 days before finally dying on me. During that time, I moderately used the device doing various activities, but nothing hardcore. Expansive Software: I find myself liking the new revamped Google Health app. Upon opening it, the app immediately provides a dashboard with key metrics to help me know what's going on since the Fitbit Air lacks a screen. I was able to initiate a new workout and log data with ease as well. One of the most useful and convenient feature is the workout tab. The interface contained a wide range of activities that could be performed with different options for setting up how I wanted these things to be tracked. [CONS] Lack of Screen: A display-less design requires adaptation. It will always be a challenge in determining how accurate calculations and actions are during activities outside of the phone and haptic feedback. [CONCLUSION] Overall, the Fitbit Air is a device that gives me what I need despite missing some of the bells and whistles that I've grown accustomed to. Since there's a not a screen, some convenience is lost, but the software does make up for some of the gaps. I found it enjoyable to wear, and I was satisfied with how well it recorded data.

Great fitness tracker
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first fitness tracker that's a dedicated tracker and not a smart watch of any sort. I feel like this is a much better one since it will last longer and you don't have to worry about damaging the screen or anything. I also am using this with the premium subscription for Google health's app because I get it included with my storage so I can't speak on the experience using this with no subscription but I do know there is basic things that to be brutally honest would be fine for me . I think from what I've saw from reports and reviews of this device the free tier gives you enough that you'll be fine spending the $100+ on this device and get enough value out of this. This device does what my smartwatch does but without the screen and inputs it into Google's new Google Health app which used to be Fitbit app. With the App it tells me how much steps I've walked, along with my heart rate and my sleeping and how well or bad it was. That's my primary use for this device. The device is also very light and barely know it's there .

Excellent Performance, Excellent Value
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I normally use my smart watch for my fitness and health tracking but decided to give the new Google Fitbit Air a try. I used it for about a week and find that the capability equals and in some categories exceeds the performance of my much more expensive smartwatch. The first critical step is to pair this device to your phone and the Google Health App. The Google App is key to unlocking the protection of the Fitbit Air. This device is an excellent heath and fitness tracker. It does all of the vitals and fitness tracking that I expected. I used this Fitbit and my smartwatch to compare the results and found them to be virtually identical. The Fitbit is lightweight and comfortable to wear. I tolerate wearing watches easily but found that this device was even less noticeable than a typical watch. I will be using this device for workouts and other activities that I don’t want to risk my expensive watch. This Fitbit is a great option for that reason. It will also appeal to people that are looking for a more affordable option than a smartwatch. For all of the reasons I mentioned above, I give the Google Fitbit a strong recommend. It is affordable, works well, and is easy to wear.

No Nonsense Tracking of your Health
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While many folks these days track their health statistics (knowingly or unknowingly) with some sort of smart watch, there are downsides to this if what you're primarily looking for them to do is to gain further insights on your health. Smart watches can be quite bulky, often have short battery life and the screen / notifications / apps can be quite distracting. Not to mention the cost. If what you're mainly interested in then tracking your physical metrics - heart rate, SpO2, steps taken / distrance travelled, calories burned, sleep duration / quality / cycles, etc. - then it can make a ton of sense to opt for this Google Fitbit Air instead. It solves all those smart watch problems - there's no screen or apps to distract. It's super compact and easy to wear (I do love the woven band, particularly when working out or sleeping). The battery lasts a LONG time (I still haven't had to charge it after a number of days of wearing it). AND the cost is significantly more reasonable than even entry level smart watches. And it does a GREAT job of tracking all the necessary statistics that I want and they're easy to see on my iPhone. The Fitbit was easy to set up (you'll need to download the app, pair the device, set up an account and answer a few questions - all very quick and easy) and off you go. I do like the style of this one and it all seems to be very well made (which you'd expect from Google / Fitbit) so that it will survive even very strenuous workout schedules easily. The color is cool and the Steph Curry branding is nice, even if it is mostly on the box / packaging. If you don't care about the branding / exclusive color, you can save a few bucks by going with the regular edition one and get the same great functionality. So if you're in the market for a device to wear JUST to track your physical metrics, this is a great option to check out. Give it a try today!
