I bought this as a gift for someone restarting their fitness journey after major surgery. I am so thankful to find this gift as they were starting from square one. They can see where they started and see real progress day to day. I really want to buy another one for myself!

I bought this to complement my pixel watch and wear it when I work out on machines that I can share my heart rate with and when I sleep to track sleeping. Unfortunately, google does not support both a pixel watch, and the Fitbit charge six to be synced in the fitbit app at the same time. Its only possible via a weird workaround. Fix this and five stars.

I just wanted a simple health tracker, with few but key bells and whistles. It measures my steps and miles. Heart rate, calories Tracks sleep, Reminds me to stand, alerts me to phone calls and messages when away from phone. It does more, but those are the main features. Love the long battery life. I charge it once every 5 days

Love mine! My third fitbit, good battery life, the previous lasted 5 years Attractive, available in a range of finishes. If you want to wear as a watch, I recommend getting two. They seem to do best with breaks off the arm for a bit.

    Design flaw or defective batch?????

I have been a FitBit user since 2021. This is the second Charge 6 tracker for me. The previous Charge 6 was when FitBit was its own company. The new Charge 6 is after Google purchased the company. I had to take off a star due to a major flaw. Best Buy had a good deal, so I purchased 12/22/2025. The Charge 6 comes with a small strap. It's too smal for me, so I had switch to the larger strap/arm. The flaw is this longer strap doesn't correctly seal and stay attach. If I touch it or bump against something, the strap comes undone and my Charge 6 falls off my wrist. I didn't feel comfortable wearing it. I couldn't enjoy my purchase, so I took it back to Best Buy on 1/9/2026. The employee looked at it and commented that the larger arm/strap didn't seal correctly. She asked if I wanted a replacement or a refund. I request a replacement. I got the replacement. Switch to the longer strap/arm and had the same issue. The longer strap/arm doesn't seal tightly. You can see the gap...separation. It would fall off if I touched it or bumped into something. I never had that issue with my old Charge 6. I switch to the longer strap/arm and it was a tight seal. It didn't fall off my arm if I touched it or bumped into something. That is a huge flaw in the Google FitBit. I should be able to use the longer strap/arm and it seals tightly. I should not come loose or undone because my arm graze a wall or surface. It wasn't an issue when FitBit was its own company separate from Google. It's an issue now that Google has purchased FitBit. I'm not sure if the Charge 6 I bought from Best Buy is a defective batch. I got two different Charge 6 from Best Buy and I have the same problem with the FitBit falling off my arm. I didn't go back. Felt it would be the same issue with a third replacement. I found my old Charge 6 and used the longer strap/arm. It sealed perfectly. There was no gap or separation. The Charge 6 hasn't fallen off my arm once. Even if I bumped against a wall or touched. I shouldn't have to use a part from my old FitBit for it to work. This is a pre-Google Fitbit! Because I can't use the longer strap/arm from my new Google Fitbit, I am deducting two stars for a score of 3 stars. Google needs better quality control to know there is an issue. Switching to the longer strap/arm should not be problematic. I'm not sure I can recommend the Google FitBit. I'm not sure if mine came from a defective batch or if this is a design flaw Google needs to research. I would say if you are buying a new Google FitBit and it's replacing one you already have. Save your old FitBit in case you need spare parts that fit so it doesn't fall off your arm.

A good, but certainly not great, watch for me. Seems to work well and reliable so far. Display is bright enough. Charge holds for many days, and this is a big plus. On the negative side, Fitbit removed a very useful feature from last version, that of jumping back to the time with a double-tap. Instead, have to scroll with swipes, which can be annoying. Fitbit has also removed the “flights of stairs” estimate from its activity summary. Finally, Fitbit also removed the details on steps and calories per 15 minute period throughout the day. Why would they remove such useful features??

I never wore a watch and thought I might hate this but it was small and comfortable and not distracting. More features than I need or want but the ones I did want work well and are easy to use. So far, battery life is around 6 days but I'm not a heavy user (using / checking functions all day long).

I have had Fitbit for almost 10 years. I have replaced mine at least 7 times in that period. The Charge3 was my longest time with the product. I used to swim everyday. It was also reliable with sending notifications to my phone. The 4 was also replaced multiple times because it dies. I have replaced the Charge5 4 times. 2 of those were because the bands won't stay latched to the watch. If you don't notice it fall at the time, it's gone. If you do notice it fall, you're lucky if the screen doesn't crack. I have had this purchase 130 days. It has fallen off almost daily. Today, I didn't see it. I keep replacing it because I own multiple bands. I believe this was the last time. The Charge 5 has also not been reliable with getting notifications on my Android phone. The one I had in December got notifications sometimes. The most recent one does not get notifications if I change the clock face. I have not showered or taken mine swimming since the Charge 4. I long for the old reliable models.

Love my Fitbit, I bought my Charge 5 with insurance. It conked out a year into the 2years. I bought the 6 cause I didn't want to give up logging my steps while I waited for a replacement. But thankfully the Charge 5 came soon. So I switched back to Charge 5 for now, but am keeping this Charge 6 and will happily move to 6 when the 5 goes. They were really responsive when I put the claim in and sent the replacement dongle very quickly. So I highly recommend the insurance when you buy. Actually, I can switch back and forth I think because they are different colors and bands. The battery life on the Charge 6 is better it seems. Anyway I love it.

My new Fitbit replaces one I had years ago. This purchase meets & exceeds my expectations as I begin to focus on my health and physical well-being. The design looks current and unobtrusive & the screen info is easy to see and read. The tracking options meet all my needs -- especially the sleep tracking. Haven't upgraded to their Premium service because all I need is available.

I am pretty basic in my wants for a fitness tracker - this gives me the info I want (actually does more than I pay attention to) and it fits my small wrist nicely. It is lasting quite a while on each charge, even when I use it for tracking my forest runs.

Very easy to set up and use. It is a low-profile watch that is not intruding in any way. I use it mainly when I have five mile runs so that I can know my heart beats. The battery sustains a seven-day week with its usual working mode.

Provides constant data and feedback. I wear it all the time. I bought this one because my last one had worn out after several years, would not have even considered a different brand or model. (I did look, but there was nothing comparable.)
