I upgraded from the fitbit 5 to the 6 and its worth every penny. This definitely keeps your heart rate alot more accurate than the 5. They have all kinds of new features as far what exercises you can choose from.

Love it, a little too much technology for me personally, not using all the features (yet)!

The sensors drastically over exaggerate and the sleep tracking is not always accurate. It gets me most off the way there but for something this cheap it should be expected. Overall not bad but not great

Hi there, John. We hear your concerns regarding you not getting the most accurate readings from the Charge 6. Here are a few things to confirm to get the best results:

      For step tracking:
Confirm your height and wrist settings are correct in the Fitbit app to get the best results. Since it uses height to estimate your walking and running stride lengths, you may want to measure and manually adjust these values if your legs are longer or shorter than average.

      For sleep tracking:
      1. Check if your sleep setting is set to Sensitive. If it is, change it to Normal.
      2. For accurate sleep tracking, position your device 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone, ensuring a secure but comfortable fit.
      3. To adjust a sleep session’s start or end time, edit it in the Fitbit app.

This Fitbit is great. It is comfortable and comes in handy with tracking my miles. The only thing i would recommend is to get another band because my skin reacted to the silicone band.

I’ve used Fitbit devices for a very long time ever since the first Fitbit flex. But the many times I’ve used them they would last at least year before breaking. This model charge 6 wins the worst model I’ve used. I’ve only had the device for 8 days and already it gave me charging problems. It died on me when it had some battery left. I had to return it.

    Too sensitive

Overall it does what it says it does, however I believe the pedometer feature might be a bit too sensitive. I notice it’s counting things like piano playing and typing which are pretty sedentary activities. I have to remember to take it off when I’m practicing piano.

Hi there, JasonS. Fitbit uses a finely-tuned algorithm to count steps — looking for motion and intensity patterns indicative of walking or running. Arm movements from desk work, cooking, or similar activities can sometimes add a few steps, often giving credit for the brief walking that typically occurs between stationary periods. Purchased for my 80 year old Mom after her original FitBit stopped working. The larger font size is perfect for someone her age. She tracks her steps everyday and loves using it as a watch too!

I love my fit bit, this is my 2nd upgrade. The only drawback is that it doesn’t track steps when you are pushing the grocery cart. S I take it off ad put it in my pocket.

Got it today- HATE IT. Looks great. Probably my 4th FitBit watch in the past 6yrs. MAKES you move your FitBit account to Google to activate. App page on cell totally different and shows stats differently. Can no longer see individual stats (even last month). It shows weekly averages :/ instead. Exercise list on watch has about 30 different ones - but you cannot change the order. Guess i will hv to acroll thru that lengthy list every time I workout as the ones I use are towards the bottom. everything I loved about old Fitbit stats, display and viewing is gone!
