1. Turn off always-on display.
2. Use phone GPS instead of built-in GPS.
3. Dim the screen or enable auto brightness.

However, the battery life is poor and the charging system is sub par. Trying to get a good charge connection has been challenging. Based on reviews I’d read that said 4-5 days was a factor in making the purchase. I’ve found the battery to last 2 days. Disappointing.
