⭐️⭐️ Disappointing Design Flaw in the Wristband Me

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really wanted to like the Fitbit Charge 6, but the interchangeable wristband clasp has been a major letdown—twice. On both my original and replacement devices, the plastic piece within the clasp locking mechanism broke when I tried to remove the band. It’s a fragile design that doesn’t hold up to normal use. Because of this flaw, I’m essentially stuck with the default black silicone wristband. It defeats the purpose of offering interchangeable bands when the mechanism fails so easily. Disappointing for an otherwise solid tracker. Fitbit needs to address this weak point in future models.

Great - when it's not dead

It's pretty much the same as the Charge 5, but the battery doesn't even last a day. I've tweaked every setting and even resorted to turning off my bluetooth to prevent constant syncing, but it keeps dying. I'm sad to say I'm switching brands. I can't deal with this anymore.

Posted .Hey there, DanielB. Sorry you’re running into battery issues on the Charge 6. The device should be able to go 7 days between charges — here are some tips to reduce battery consumption:
1. Turn off always-on display
2. Use phone GPS instead of built-in GPS
3. Dim the screen or enable auto brightness

I had to ask the front to find someone. He did not offer me protection plan, did not review with me my options for other products and he gave me the impression that I was bothering him.

Your device has been tested against driving and riding in buses, trains, and other public transportation and shouldn’t add steps when you’re traveling under normal conditions. On bumpy roads or in a car with a stiff transmission your device may add some steps. For most customers, the number of extra steps added when driving isn’t significant when compared to your overall stats. If you want to remove the steps from your daily total, manually log the driving activity for the time you were in a vehicle.
