Many appreciate the intuitive ease of use, sleek minimalist design, and the accuracy of its health tracking features like heart rate and sleep monitoring. While the product is highly regarded for its lightweight and comfortable size, some users have expressed dissatisfaction with the quality of the band and occasional inconsistencies with connectivity. Overall, the device is well-received for its functionality, though minor improvements to the hardware and setup process would be welcomed.

    Uncertain value

The wrist band caused rash and itching. Changed to aftermarket breathable band which stopped the rash. The sleep detector has not been accurate, failing to provide correct hours of sleep. The step counter seems correct. The heart rate detector seems correct; however, I cannot tell if the atrial fib detector works since the hours of sleep appears incorrect.

    Unintuitive frustrating garbage

The first few days trying to use this have been super frustrating... Defaults are very annoying (e.g., lights up when trying to sleep, vibrates every minute when you're walking), and trying to customize, set up, and work out how to do what should be things simple things like start a treadmill run are all far more painful than they should be. Immensely better experience with a $40 imitation (Xiaomi), which was also more functional and let you control spotify, etc.

Hi there, DavidW. Sorry to hear the Charge 6 may not have been what you were expecting. A majority of the settings to adjust the vibrations, screen time, and other features are a quick swipe down from the clock screen and tapping the Settings icon. Best Buy vs. Amazon

I purchased from Best Buy to give business to brick and mortar retailers rather than on line with Amazon. The product was not suited to the recipient's needs and when I attempted to return was told it was past 15 days and I hadn't purchased a protective membership that would have extended the return to 60 days. Same product on Amazon would have a no hassle refund of 30 days. Future purchases won't be using Best Buy.

Read the reviews - the straps are as bad as people say. One of the key functions of a watch is remaining secure on your wrist. Will return and buy something else. Fitbit support is unhelpful.

Zero stars isn’t an Orion! Bought it in 11/2023. In 1/2024 the screen went black. I received a new one under warranty. The Second one just failed, this time a battery issue (apparently). Once again I’ll get a replacement under warranty terms but what I really want is a reliable product. This will be my last Fitbit.

Hi, SharenJ. We're sorry to hear that your Fitbit Charge 6 is not tracking your steps properly. Fitbit devices use a 3-axis accelerometer to count your steps. This sensor also allows your device to determine the frequency, duration, intensity, and patterns of your movement. Also, factors such as device placement, dominant or non-dominant hand, and stride length affect the number of steps recorded. If you're pushing a stroller or shopping cart, try putting your wrist-based device in your pocket or use GPS if possible. Great watch when it stays with you

The Fitbit Charge 6 My Wife’s Charge 5 broke after a rather severe impact. Nothing I could do about that. So I ordered her a Charge 6. The watch itself works great, and the sleep monitoring system is quite good. It has a major drawback. If you misplace it, you are going to have to download a Bluetooth detection app that will get you within about 10 feet. The watch doesn’t make noise to tell you where it is. Most would say that you aren’t supposed to lose your watch anyway. Unfortunately, the Fitbit 6 has a serious problem with the watchband letting go of the watch. At first, I thought it must just be this watch, but a quick internet search showed many pages of people with the exact same complaint. The watch is great, but good luck keeping it on your arm. When I attached the band, I discovered that with minor movement, it would fall off. So, I ordered a new band from Amazon and installed it. It worked for about three days, then had the same problem as the first.

Hi, Jabra7pro. We appreciate your feedback. Fitbit Charge 6 is a wrist-based motion sensor, it may add extra steps whenever your arms are moving, even though your body isn't. To get better step tracking, please ensure your wrist placement setting is aligned with how you wear your tracker. We suggest fixing your hand settings to "Dominant" to decrease its step counting sensitivity. For more info and tips on how to best improve your tracker's accuracy, please check out: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1136.htm
