Hi there, Tiffany. While we’re glad the Inspire 3 was easy to use, we hear your concerns regarding accuracy — we get this is frustrating. Try these steps to make sure your device is working optimally:

      1. Tighten the band so that it doesn’t slip on your wrist
      2. Heart-rate tracking may not work with certain accessory bands, especially if they’re loose fitting
      3. Use the Exercise app to record GPS data for your workout.
      4. Intense arm movements can weaken your device's signal. If this occurs, relax and keep your wrist still for roughly 10 seconds.

Liked my old fitbit much better

Set up was not very easy but finally got it done. I still cannot get it track the number of flights of stairs though but at least the other few things I am most interested in tracks. Even though I was able to use the app on my tablet with my last fitbit, this one would not work on my fire tablet.

Hi, there. We're sorry to hear that your Fitbit Inspire 3 is not syncing on your fire tablet. To set up and use your Fitbit Inspire 3, you must install the Fitbit app on a compatible device running on Android 10 or higher. For more information, please visit this: https://support.google.com/product-documentation/answer/14226283

Also, Fitbit Inspire 3 does not track floors climbed because it doesn't have an altimeter. For more information about the Fitbit Inspire 3, please visit this:

Buyer Beware: Fitbit Inspire 3 is an iOS Nightmare

I recently purchased the Fitbit Inspire 3 with the specific intention of downgrading from a full smartwatch. I wanted a simple, lightweight tracker for my off wrist, primarily for sleep tracking and a silent alarm, allowing me to wear my beloved analog watches. Unfortunately, this device has been nothing short of a frustrating ordeal. If you are an iPhone user, I implore you to steer clear of the Fitbit Inspire 3. The incompatibility with iOS is staggering. The notification feature worked once upon initial setup and has been completely unreliable ever since. The "find my device" function is an absolute joke – it wouldn't locate the tracker even when my phone and the Fitbit were practically glued together in my pocket. The syncing process is unbelievably archaic. Forget about automatic background syncing. With the Inspire 3 and iOS, you are forced to manually open the Fitbit app, navigate through the menu, and initiate a sync that takes a glacial 30 seconds. The worst part? If you dare to leave that specific menu screen, the sync abruptly stops! This is a ridiculous inconvenience in 2025. My wife, who uses a Fitbit Charge 6 paired with a Pixel 9, experiences none of these issues. Her device works seamlessly. This stark contrast highlights just how poorly the Inspire 3 performs on the iOS platform. The consequences of this terrible iOS integration are significant. If you don't actively open the app and manually sync, your entire week will be recorded as a measly 5,000 steps and absolutely zero sleep data. This defeats the entire purpose of owning a fitness tracker! Learn from my expensive mistake. If you're an iPhone user looking for a reliable and hassle-free fitness tracker, please do yourself a favor and invest in a Garmin instead. The Fitbit Inspire 3 on iOS is the biggest tech flop I've encountered in a long time. You've been warned!

Hey there, Ramil. Sorry to hear you’ve had a number of issues with syncing between your iPhone and the Inspire 3. Here’s a few troubleshooting steps to get your device back on track:

      1. Open the Fitbit app and go to "Devices" on the "Today" tab.
      2. Remove your device within the app.
      3. Check your phone's Bluetooth or "Connected devices" settings and remove any listed Fitbit trackers/watches.
      4. Reopen the Fitbit app and attempt to sync.

      Here’s a link with additional steps: https://support.google.com/fitbit/answer/14236618

If this still doesn’t resolve the issue, don’t hesitate to reach out to us anytime: https://support.google.com/fitbit/gethelp?hl=en

I would have given this particular Fitbit a 5 star but the Bluetooth or syncing often takes long and the find my phone rarely works. I’ve always had an Apple Watch and wanted to give Fitbit a try due to battery life of Apple just lacking terribly but the sync capability of Fitbit is just horrible. Maybe I’ll try one more fitbit… the Luxe or charge 5.

Terrible watch. Been at least 6 months since the time hasn't been fixed in the app. The phone and main clock match, but when you go into the app to add an exercise, the starting time is 30 min behind and won't let you use the current time. I contacted fitbit support 3 times- 2 e-mails and 1 call; supposedly trying to be fixed. It shouldn't take this long! Bluetooth on, sleep mode off, notifications on, stopped receiving texts on watch. Says I have a lot more steps than I know I took each day.
