I can see who is calling me and also texting me I then go to my phone if necessary. I bought elastic watch bands for it from Amazon.

Can't do without my fitbit!

Only downside is that my 85 year old brain doesn't care for the extra info. and primarily ignores it to just keep track of my exercise and calorie intake. The information is interesting, but not my main reason for buying the watch.
