Google as had two updates that have ruined the quality of the Google Nest Cameras. Google has run Nest into the ground sibce they bought them out. Getting rid of Nest secure and raising prices for Nest Aware was it for me. Horrible customer service.

After setting up both with the same wifi and temporarily putting them on a table about 8 feet from the router, one kept on dropping the connection. I had to return.

Nest Cam (battery) works with most Wi-Fi routers, with an internet connection and secure wireless network, 802.11a/b/g/n 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi in the US, and 802.11b/g/n 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi in other regions. If other devices are connected to Wi-Fi but your cameras can't connect, try to move closer to the router. Factory reset your Nest cameras to restore it to its factory default settings: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9252162

They pull up instantly, and you don't have to wait for unnecessary processing to see what's going on. The quality is good and the price per year of $80 is also really good. The video quality is excellent and the option to give you for what to record how long and when is very nice. Overall very satisfied. Best buy also delivered with great prices.
