Great Google Home Speaker

I have multiple Google Home devices and the sound quality on this one is much better than the original home, home mini (obviously), and home hub. Would highly recommend! Now if we could just get them to put a rechargeable battery in it to take it on the go...

Good Little Smart Speaker

I found that the Google assistant is more responsive than in my Nest Mini (I will investigate as soon as I get an opportunity). I l love that we can synchronize all my Nest Smart speakers to play simultaneously or individually.

Small little speaker that sounds beautifully after you adjust Google Home's equalizer or better yet, when you connect it via bluetooth and your phone's more comprehensive equalizer kicks in.

Music Streaming Does is Disappointing

Does not work well with Apple Music. I have deleted and reinstalled the Apple Music app and the Google Home app several times, yet the service stops working after the first song. I get an error that says I'm using Apple Music on another device. One of the main reasons I purchased the speaker was to stream Apple Music throughout my home. I've had the 1st gen Google Home speaker and a Google Hub for a few years now. They all have been disappointing when it comes to music. Pandora works, but I prefer Apple which I pay for.

Great speakers, better functionality.

They get plenty loud while still remaining clear. They are also great for multi-room audio which I have connected throughout my entire house. It is nice to walk from one room to another and hear the same music perfectly in sync.

HUGE Improvement Over the Mini

I’ve have several Mini’s around the house - after adding just one of these the listening experience has improved dramatically. Looking forward to these coming back down in price to purchase 2-3 more. If you’re shopping for a Mini and this is on sale, get this instead.

Wow! this is a big upgrade. The sound is so much better. It feels substantial to. It's quite heavy, so I know the quality is there.

Great Speaker But Does Not Work w/ Google TV

I bought two and was able to pair them together as a stereo pair using the Google Home app. However, I was disappointed that I could not assign them as the primary speakers for my Google TV...apparently they are working on this feature but its not ready yet?

I'm a big fan of the broadcast feature. For the size of the speaker, it sounds very good.

Works, But Should be Better.

Unfortunately pairing the two speakers was slightly difficult and on top of that sound quality wasn't as good as I expected. On the bright side, Google assist works perfectly voices are clear. Some slight improvements will make it a great product.

You can also change the audio settings of your Nest display in the Google Home app. Here’s how to adjust bass and treble level:
