Google apparently stole some of the tech from Sonos, so now the group speaker functionality is broken. I only bought these speakers for that function. Also, I got 3 of these and one of them had to be returned because it wouldn't stay connected to the wifi.

Have to factory reset just to change the router password. Stereo pairing works for a few minutes, then the connection is lost and you must factory reset both speakers just to get either of them to connect again.

This is the only thing that I’ve ever bought a Best Buy that I really didn’t like I seen a commercial on it and I figure while that looks pretty good let me try that because I always I love my music well first of all I couldn’t connected to any of the apps or accounts that it was linked to it didn’t play any of the music that I wanted a plain white she want it I thought that I could at least connected to YouTube I couldn’t even do that and the sound was not that great I returned it I didn’t like it it wasn’t worth the money
Hello there Jxgarx, thanks for sharing your feedback to let us know of your concerns with the Nest Audio, and we’re sorry to hear it’s a frustrating experience for you.
Your Nest speaker could be having trouble connecting to Google, and these simple steps may clear these issues out: - Check your Wi-Fi network for possible congestion. Relieving some of your connected devices may help free up some bandwidth space. - Check the distance between the Nest speaker and your router. Ensure that it is within a line of sight from your router. - Check for wireless interference with other Wi-Fi hotspots or appliances and devices nearby. - Restart Nest Audio and router to refresh the connection. - Reset your Nest Audio. On the back of Nest Hub, press and hold both volume buttons together for about 10 seconds. Your Nest speaker will let you know that it's resetting.
Meanwhile, we also recommend adjusting how sensitive Google Assistant responds to the hotword “Hey Google”: - Open the Google Home app. - At the bottom, tap Home. - Select your Nest Mini or the device you want to adjust. - At the top right, tap Device settings > “Hey Google” sensitivity. - If you don’t find “Hey Google sensitivity,” first tap Audio. - Choose how sensitive you want Google Assistant to be when it responds to you. - To change this setting on another device, tap Adjust more devices.
Lastly, it may also be helpful to retrain your Google Assistant to better recognize your voice. See the steps below on how to do this: - On your phone or tablet, open the Google Home app - At the top right, tap your Profile picture or initial and then Assistant settings and then Voice Match. - Tap Teach your Assistant your voice again and then Retrain.
We’re always looking for ways to create a better experience, and your feedback counts. And if you’d like to reach out to us for additional assistance, you’ll find our contact details using this link: https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp
