They do pair however I was hoping to pair them to Chromecast Google TV and they rarely stayed connected. Ended up returning them primarily for this reason. For someone who is used to the sound quality from the Apple Homepod (original), these do not even come close.

Google Assistant rarely responded in the end, with the right actions or information, Gemini has only made things worse with it regularly saying to use native apps to control smart devices or listen to audio instead of doing the things the Google Nest Audio was marketed as doing. You're better off getting any other smart home speaker, itll be less headache in the long run.

It's really good for listening to music, set a alarm for myself and it could connect to my laptop through Bluetooth as well. I really love this speaker.
