    The device is a bit iffy. Sometimes, it will connect to your bluetooth other times it only plays generic music from apple.

      To improve the Bluetooth connectivity for your Nest Audio, we recommend trying out some helpful steps below:
      - Restart your Nest Audio. Unplug it and wait for 10 seconds, then plug it back in. Wait for the device to reboot, then try to ask the Assistant your question again.
      - If you get these errors frequently, try to move your speaker or display closer to casting mobile phone or tablet.
      - Try using another mobile phone or tablet device to see if you will encounter the same issue
      - Perform a factory data reset on Nest Audio. Check on the back of your device, switch the mic off. The lights will turn orange. Press and hold the center of the Nest Audio, near the top. After 5 seconds, your device will begin the factory reset process. Continue to hold for about 10 seconds more, until a sound confirms that the device is resetting.

    wanted to use this to replace my wired speakers for my projector since i had other google homes just for spotify i thought it would be cool surround sound. i was wrong. did not work at all, even with a chromecast tv.

      Using your Nest Audio, you can choose to turn on surround sound on your Chromecast or Chromecast Ultra. Here’s how:

      - Make sure your mobile device or tablet is linked to the same account as your Chromecast or Chromecast Ultra.
      - Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
      - Tap your device and then Settings .
      - Scroll down to "Sound settings" and then tap Surround sound.

      Note: By default, surround sound mode will be set to auto-detect. But, you can change the mode to AC3/EAC3 surround sound, AC3 surround sound only, or Stereo only. Check the modes your TV supports before you change this setting. This might result in no audio if your TV doesn't support a specific mode.

    Bluetooth Stereo experience

    The device is great as a standalone device. However, I bought this google nest audio to form a stereo with an existing one at home. After the stereo pairing, the BT audio is obviously lagging of video from youtube, which is kind of disappointing.

      - Cast music to the group that's playing out of sync
      - Stand between the out-of-sync speakers (or as close to in between as you can) and adjust their volume levels so you hear them both playing at about the same level.
      - Open the Google Home app.
      - In Home, tap the device you want to correct the group playback delay.
      - Tap Settings > Group delay correction.
      - Move the slider to the left or right until the audio sound is in sync.
