It also never worked that good either. Do yourself a favor and by an Amazon Eco.

It has taken we a while to figure everything out ! I know by the the other reviews how good the product is ! The clarity of sound’s good so far what i can get out it ! I have some other nest products I need to set up they can work together ! I would definitely recommend for family and friends !

Amazing when bass is turned up all the way

The software is just too buggy to put up with, so I returned it. I decided to try Google instead. I got a set of 2 and paired them up as a stereo. By the way, getting a second Nest speaker and pairing them is definitely worth it. The sound quality is amazing. I went into the equalizer in the app and turned the bass up all the way. It sounds like a pair of mid/high end bookshelf speakers. I also like Google because their software works much better than Amazon. That's especially true with Bluetooth. Once you set it up, it perfectly synced and it connects to literally anything...a feature Amazon doesn't have with Echo. I tried connecting my speaker pair to my TV Bluetooth. To my delight, it actually makes an amazing soundbar. My TV actually syncs the audio/visual together perfectly. And it has a halfway decent amount of rumble to it. If you want a good smart speaker, Google does it far better than Echo. If you want amazing sound, get a second, and pair them up...then turn the bass up all the way. Connect them to a TV bluetooth, and you have a smart soundbar that you can disconnect/reconnect with a simple voice command.

Fantastic Speaker

For using Assistant this speaker checks the boxes. Where the Nest speaker shines in a sea of voice assistant speakers is it's sound quality. This little speaker sounds amazing, especially when paired with another for stereo sound. You'd be hard pressed to find any speaker that sounds this good for $100 & $50 when it goes on sale sometimes.

Nest Audio provides you with 3 ways to control and adjust the volume:
- Control volume using your voice commands. You can set a specific volume by saying "Hey Google! Set volume to 65%.".
- Control volume by touching the Nest Audio Speaker. You can tap on both the left (to lower the volume) and right (to increase the volume) top side corner on the front of the speaker to adjust the volume.
- Control Volume from the Google Home app. Make sure your mobile device or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi network or linked to the same account as your speaker or display. Open the Google Home app. Tap your speaker or display and then adjust the volume.

I’d definitely recommend one of these to anyone looking for a good speaker to cast music to.

Excellent Poor Man's Sonos

Forget Sonos and save hundreds of $$. On top of this add google assistant and its a done deal. You can group it with any google chromecast device from soundbar to TV. I have the tiny best audio connected to this device all over my house and its amazing. Just buy it!

Clear highs, solid bass response, overall good tuning with more tuning options in the app. However the software for this speaker often causes it not to connect to Bluetooth or work with casting audio. Outside of these issues the speaker is great.
