Average security camera. Reconsider alt brand.

When streaming from Hub Max it frequently disconnects, requiring me to manually reconnect. However, when streaming from a tablet it maintains its connection.

As long as you have good wifi they do really well . Battery last about a month with high sensitivity frequent traffic . Mid sensitivity with low traffic you can get 2 months off a charge .

I thought for the price point it would be faster and better than its competitors but I was very wrong. If you don't mind not knowing who is in your driveway until 30 seconds later, this is for you.

The Nest system seems to run a little slower than Arlo did, but overall for the price, build quality, ease of setup, and ongoing subscription prices this was a great upgrade. Major gripe about the 2-pack was it didn't come with 2 chargers and cables, just one set, so I got shorted and should have gotten the single pack cameras. Also, I bought some wasserstein security mounts and then found out that the nest cams came with a security cable already.

Meanwhile, we suggest having the latest version of the Google Home app that may improve camera playback controls to make it easier to play, pause, and navigate between events from the camera history view for cameras set up in the Google Home app. We also understand that having two charging cables for your cameras can be convenient for you. Battery last decent, but easy to take down to recharge.

They can’t take this one down. Liked the wired one better since I didn’t have to charge it, but my kids decided that this is the one we’re using

If you have to buy this product, buy it with solar power attached to it, so no recharge needed. I will buy it later when I get tired of climbing the ladder.

And to be honest we all know that is a minimum of 6+ months and even then, not all the functions will get migrated. I'm just going on the Google's track record here. 1 step forward 4 steps back seems to be their way. This is so disrespectful to the current customer base. These new cams are so different because of the Google HOME app that they should have never had the NEST name connected to them. ... just my opinion. Shame on you Google. You have more resources than just about any company, and this is what you release?

We wanted to make the Google Home app the one place where you can control all your favorite Google Nest devices and other smart home devices with the Google Assistant. Here are some benefits you can get by using the Google Home app with your Nest Cam (Battery):
- Automatic security protections such as Suspicious activity detection, 2-Step Verification and Security Checkup.
- Your Google Nest devices and services will work together. For example, if you have a Nest Cam and a Nest Hub, just say, ""Hey Google, show me the backyard camera” to cast your camera stream to your display without any additional setup.
- One account to sign into both the Nest and Google Home apps.
- Your homes and home members will be aligned across the Nest and Google Home apps.
