I have three of these installed at my house, and three installed at my parents' house. They work flawlessly for my needs, and the battery life is incredible. The feed quality is high and the AI works extremely well at detecting people. Mounting is a breeze, and the Google Home app has gotten much better.

Easy to set up. Outstanding performance. Has battery in it in case of power outage that can be hard wired aswell

Great product but a solar panel for these cameras are hard to get at this time. Battery lasts about 20-30 days, based on camera on/recording times. Solar panels were not available to purchase from BB or anywhere. I was able to order from factory, but they expect the solar panels to be released at end of April.

I ended up returning these cameras. I have several other Nest cameras but this new version doesn’t work with the Nest App and website. You have to use the Google Home app. I couldn’t find where I could watch live video on my laptop like I could with the Nest website.

The mounting system is really cool. Previous to purchase I was a little worried so I looked up some videos on the product and everyone said the magnet was strong but boy when I needed to charge it, it was hard getting it off! I am glad it's secure though and I love that it links up to all of my other Google products!

Had trouble with the first purchase. Returned got a new set been working great ever since. We also purchased the black silicone covers for the camera and wall mount base. We have NOT bought the extended service past the free trail. But we still get notifications just doesn't keep as long as history.

Quick and easy to install. We had bought the arlo pro 3 or 4 first and had issues from the beginning, not to mention horrible tech support from arlo team. The nest cams we probably had ready and mounted within minutes. Love the alerts, and the convenience of being able to check on the house, especially during trips.

These cameras are trash worst nest product. If it’s wired so it can record 24/7 you can’t save clips unless the ai detected motion in it. You can’t pick how long of a clips you want. Forcing the google home trash app is the dumbest thing to do. The app is horrible not user friendly they are clustering to much together. want my security cameras to have its own app to be able to watch without searching for it on the horrible google home app. It’s almost like google wants nest to fail and is trying to make it as horrible as possible so no one buys these new cameras. I’m gonna return mine and look for a better option than these.you need to leave the camera viewing on the nest app not the trash google home app. How is the camera not waterproof if you advertise as a outdoor camera. Night vision is average. I really don’t understand why put the cameras viewing on the google trash app with smart lights and other “smart” devices bought them to protect my home and easily view and save clips and google made it nearly impossible to save clips on the google home trash app.

Not only do they require a different app, but they fail right after the warranty is up. I have an older generation camera that works great, but these dumb things have the battery built in, so even if you wire it in the camera won't work when the battery fails. Up to this point I've just been resetting them and been able to reconnect them to the network, but that's not working anymore... so my 14-month-old camera is a paperweight. Very convenient that the warranty only lasts 12 months.

Great idea, super poor execution! The cameras were fully charged and then discharged after ONE DAY!! Thank God I can still return it!! Bye bye Google Nest, I'm off to find something better, you know something that actually works. I've had two different (MUCH CHEAPER) security systems before and just wanted to upgrade. Nest is most definitely NOT an upgrade unless you want to keep charging your cameras daily. Also, the doorbell is impossible to get off with the tool they give you, so you can't charge that either (that drained the batter after one week!!)

I already know I hate the Google Home interface because it's inferior to Nest, but I got on board and purchased these to be my outdoor cameras. I had them wired the entire time, but eventually they both stopped powering on and the error says the battery is dead. Yet they are wired. They are now paperweights.

Replaced my Wyze cameras with these. The install was super easy, and the integration to the Nest hub and Google home app is amazing. Clear picture abd audio!

These are super easy to set up and mount quickly via magnets or the included hardware. The battery lasts for a long time and we only have to charge ours once a month or longer.
