Good quality and easy setup. Would recommend if you don’t have the ability to go wired.

Very good cameras, do experience some latency from time to time which can be frustrating, I do not think it is my WIFI network, rather then ongoing integration of Nest and Google h/w and s/w. I would recommend to those who have done their research into their needs and can verify these meet them.
Hi there, JimQ. We’re glad to have your feedback, and we appreciate that you like Nest Cam (battery). We’re sorry to hear that your experience is below satisfaction. We’ve taken note of your feedback to work on improving our products and services. Meanwhile, we suggest having the latest version of the Google Home app that may improve camera playback controls to make it easier to play, pause, and navigate between events from the camera history view. You can change the settings like adjusting video quality, wake-up sensitivity, length of video clips, time between recorded events, and using activity zones to monitor specific areas.

Great quality cameras with easy install. The cameras have a good quality picture at night. Very satisfied with the product will recommend to friends/family
Thanks for reaching out about your Nest Cam (Indoor, wired), Abdirizak. Here’s some solutions to get the best connection:
1. Move your camera, router, or other objects that may interfere with the device 2. Restart your camera or doorbell 3. Check your internet bandwidth and speed

I’ve had this camera for about a month with no issues! Very easy to set up and user friendly. Easy to install and I was worried about needing to charge it all the time. So far, it hasn’t needed a charge yet! Have already purchased a 2nd camera.

Works great! I get clear pictures, videos, in color with sound which I absolutely love in the mornings when the birds are all singing their happy tunes!! I have a very large area of yard I can see as well as my patio, I’m glad I went with Google Nest!

Great product, easy to set up, facial recognition works perfect, love that it notices packages and let you know that they are there and when they are gone, we definitely recommend all especially over ring products

The google Nest cameras are easy to configure and install into a Google Home for monitoring. The iCloud storage is a reasonable price and by whole home, not camera #’s. Had a number of Nest cameras for years and adding.

Do not buy this item for an outdoor device. It was engineered to fail. Corrosion will build up where the charger port meets the camera. The design is not built to be waterproof or anywhere close to it. Mine lasted about 6months under an awning. Google would not even consider any warranty because I had everything except the useless cord. A C-port would have been better, still would have failed, but easily replaced. Do not buy for outdoor use. There are way better-engineered cameras for that purpose. Indoor use, sure, go for it, just know that the cord is one of a kind and uses a magnet to secure to the camera. The magnet is weak and short. Tends to fall out often. I have had two so far. Regret the purchase, and disappointed in the customer service treatment. Thanks, Apple, I mean CJ, for the awful customer experience. Tossing the nest as a whole, as I have 6 products and will use something reliable. There are free services for outdoor cameras. Not 99 dollars a year and expected to go up. Plus the software is kinda janky.

Works great... battery life in the Winter suffers but because it charges quickly it isnt an inconvenience.

Let me start out by saying that the design and quality of this camera is good (minus the position of the charging cable).
I have metal siding, so I didn't have to drill any holes, the magnet is really strong, and holds well. I just had a series of storms come through my area and it fared well. It was easy to set up and looks great outside my house.
Now, its time for the cold water; the battery is, as everyone has said, horrible. 2 days in and my camera was at 68% with 6 total events recorded between the 2 days...
Google will try and tell you that battery life is based on many different factors, it is essentially their way of placing blame on you, that somehow its YOUR fault. not the case. I turned all recordings off, charged it to 100% and let it sit outside my home where temperatures in MN have been 75 on average. 3 days later it is sitting at 90% battery.
Could I have gotten a faulty unit? Sure, anything that is mass produce will have some issues. But its left a bad taste in my mouth all the same. I don't know what I'm going to do at this point, but after al the hype, i'm not impressed
Hi MWPHennessy, we appreciate you taking the time to let us know of your experience with the Nest Cam (Battery). We’re sorry to learn that you ran into an issue with the battery, and that you don’t like the position of the charging cable. We’re always listening to what our customers’ share with us to identify areas we can improve.
Besides the time between recorded events, battery life also depends on activity, temperature, and camera settings that you select. You can extend the battery life of your camera by adjusting video quality, length of video clips, and using activity zones to monitor specific areas. Below are some typical scenarios about the battery life:
Busy - About 1.5 months battery life (about 20 - 25 recorded events per day) Typical - About 3 months battery life (about 9 - 12 recorded events per day) Quiet - About 7 months battery life (about 2 - 4 recorded events per day)
We suggest adjusting the video quality in settings to balance high resolution video with longer battery life and lower bandwidth use. Check this link that might be helpful for you: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/10901611
If the issue persists after checking the steps above, you may reach out to us anytime at the following link and we’ll do our best to help: https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp

I have 6 Google cameras so far and I think this last purchase (Google outdoor wireless/battery) will be the last. It's sad as I was hoping to buy 2 more outdoor but I'm now re-assessing other cameras. I hope Google and Bestbuy stops selling these as it is shortchanging their customers. Aside from removing most of the original Nest features like the ability to scrub videos, if you look at Google community you will see that there are lots of issues around the battery options. The wired are OK. I've never had problems with Google/Nest cameras (I think I have all of them except the floodlights). This one purchase for my 2nd time charging it (about 6 months out from purchase) took way past 12 hrs. I strongly believed I've got a defective one but Bestbuy wouldn't honor the warranty since I did not purchase the GeekSquad plan. So I guess there's no point anymore to buy directly from BestBuy then. If you must buy it, at least purchase directly from Google so you'll have the history and the possibility of getting support. I'm now stuck with this one odd camera that I would have to leave overnight for charging in the future which is not supposed to be.
