Bought these the week of Black Friday & so far I’m thoroughly impressed & pleased! Setup & installation was breeze (if you know what you’re doing). I’m happy with build & quality. The only negative thing I can say is the battery drains rapidly in a high traffic motion area where the camera will be used at. So I had to purchase the outdoor weathered cable so the battery would have constant power.

This is a HUGE upgrade from the last Camera system I installed at my house. Very easy to set up, Very easy to connect to my smart home, easy to install. I was worried about having a magnet only holding the camera in place but it makes it SOOOOO easy to adjust. I can view camera on nest hub or in google app on phone. It has a very clear picture, alerts me to anything near my home. I am hoping to get more soon

Bought a 2-pack and have used them for about a year. One of the cameras works ok, but often doesn't pick up motion. The other cam is terrible. The battery takes 2-3 days to charge. Constantly says that it's an incompatible charger, eventhough it's the cable that came with it, and charges the other cam fine. It can't charge while mounted. The battery only lasts about 3-5 days, with no activity. The battery is a serious problem and makes the purchase unusable.

Cameras work great. Nice clear picture and simple to install. The only thing about wireless cameras is that you have to charge them about once a week at the earliest and once every three weeks at the latest.

A better solution than other camera options. Being able to combine all of my smart features is awesome!

Cameras are great but can’t add these to Nest app. Have to use Google home app which isn’t very good. Nest app way better and faster

I love the ease of installing and setting up these cameras. As long as you install the app on your phone you will always get notifications when something crosses into its path. The night vision is great as well.

For anyone looking for the cleanest, most seamless outdoor camera this nest cam is by far the best looking one currently available. The picture is crisp and the new Google Home app brings all my smart switches, thermostats, locks and even shades together under one app and everything is accessible via voice command. I do wish Google offered a portable charging solution that doesn't require taking the camera off and then having to find and reposition the camera again once it's charged back to its original angle.

Good little cameras! Set up is easy and picture is good. Batteries seem to have good longevity. I added solar panel chargers for outdoor application and seem to work great.

Works like the old nest cams. Has a battery, but to get continuous feed, they MUST be plugged in. The cameras MUST use the google home app, and do not show up in the nest app. This is fine if you don’t have any legacy nest cams, but if you do, the legacy cams in the google home app DO NOT have the same functionality as they do in the nest app. For example, if I want to scroll through the timeline just to see what happened that day, above and beyond the normal motion and sound alerts, the google home app does not allow me to do this for the legacy cameras. If google wants us to only use the google home app, then the functionality for the legacy devices needs to also be included.

Overall, the cameras have met my expectations. Great visual quality based on camera feed(s), extremely easy to install and position for optimal viewing coverage. Very satisfied with overall operability and use. Only downside, but manageable, is that the added cameras only work on the Google Home Network when added to an existing operable Nest Doorbell Camera operating system. But, as mentioned earlier, completely manageable through the Google Home networking system.

I love the Google Nest cams they have good quality picture they pick up good sound and the microphone works pretty dang well all in all a wonderful product...except if you buy the two pack of cameras Google thought it was good idea to give you only one charger and one charging cable which is absolutely ridiculous!!... I bought six of these things with a floodlight cam combo for 1300 some odd dollars and I still have to buy three cables and three charging blocks Google this is really stupid!!

Cameras work great, nice video coverage, audio recording is a great feature. The only problem I have with the Nest Cam Battery 2 Pack is having to recharge them, I read the reviews and most said that the battery lasted 1 month or more, but that is not the case for the 4 cameras that I purchased. If you install them in an area that has a lot of activity the battery wears within 4-5 days. I purchased 4 cameras and installed them outside of my home. The charge on one camera has lasted almost 2 weeks, the area it is installed at does not have a lot of activity, but the other 3 cameras require constant charging.

Easy install High quality physically and good image/ software interface. Don’t like that camera mount is magnetic seems like it could easily be stolen

I was initially very worried after reading all the negative reviews here, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised so far. They have been up for about 3 weeks and still have more than 75% battery life. The integration with the google home app is pretty seamless, and I can stream them directly to my nest hubs and Chromecasts. I’m giving this 4 stars instead of 5 because it sometimes seems to pick up events slightly late (e.g. an event will start with the person in center frame, should start as soon as the person enters the frame). Overall I’m happy with my purchase, and plan on hardwiring them in the near future for added benefit.

I’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews… this made me skeptical but I was excited for these so decided to purchase anyway. Had a very easy install, all you do is screw in the mounting bracket where you want and then the cam just connects on. It works perfect for people that don’t want to have to run a wire through their wall like myself. While I wish the camera would connect to my nest app, it does connect to your google home app and once you start using the app you get much more familiar with it. For the camera itself, the camera quality is great, connectivity is great, it uses motion detection and only records when motion is detected. You don’t have to scroll through hours of footage to find what your looking for, it only records the parts your looking for, another huge positive in my opinion. In the settings you have so many different customization options like setting zones, sensitivity, and adding familiar faces, all very cool tech. I would recommend this camera and going to add more myself

Excellent product and very easy to install. I purchased 3 cameras 4 years ago and decided to purchase 2 more. There are lots of options in the market place but Nest Cam is the best in my opinion. Would recommend to anyone.

It’s part of the Google Home ecosystem. Not Nest even though it says Nest. I knew this going into it and it doesn’t bother me. I prefer it since Nest will eventually get fully integrated into Google. My only downside was being able to hide the wires for the cam. I wanted to feed the cable through the base but it doesn’t let you because the power plug is under the cam. The magnet is strong and the battery life is okay. I plug it in right out of the box and it lasted me 2 weeks with default settings. Instead I purchased the charger cable and just have it plugged in all the time.
