Clear video and sound

Yes you have to use the Google Home app. I honestly don’t see why this is such a big deal to some people. The cameras catch and record more with better sensitivity if you have them connected to a power source, but for the areas where this isn’t possible they are suitable. I have one on my front porch wired, adding another to the side for battery and I just ordered the floodlight for the back yard. Very happy.

In the dead of winter, the battery lasted 4 months on a moderately busy street, an outcome which I was very happy with. Looking forward for the Google Home app update that makes it easier to scroll etc but so far no complaints. Worth it for the sale price I paid

Nest outdoor camera

It paired up perfectly with my ring doorbell camera so I only have 1 APP that I use to view my camera activity. The installation was easy and quick by the GEEK SQUAD installers.

There were no instructions on how long to charge them. I had to go on line and look it up. Also the instructions in the package were printed in grey in 6/7 point type. VERY DIFFICULT TO READ. I had to take pictures and blow them up on my phone. Those marketing people think they are so clever, but they are not realistic.

I love how it has the battery so if it's plugged in and you loose power it may still work providing your internet is still up.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.They work great ,but a real pain to setup if you dont have ready electrical outlets or make a mistake setting up or your WIFI is weak , otherwise pics are clear and the alerts are nice, too see if someone is at your door or in your yard, or you get a delivery.
