It stuck right to my metal siding so i didnt need to drill any holes and i could move it anytime very easy. The picture is ok was expecting a little more clear but does the trick.

By using the Home app, you can enjoy several benefits, including automatic security protections such as Suspicious activity detection, 2-Step Verification, and Security Checkup. Additionally, your Google Nest devices and services seamlessly work together, allowing you to say commands like "Hey Google, show me the backyard camera" to effortlessly cast your camera stream to your display without any additional setup. The Google Home app also offers the convenience of signing in with a single account for both the Nest and Google Home apps. Your homes and home members will be synchronized across both platforms. If you have Nest aware, it will only save 24/7 if it is connected to power supply. Unless it is set up within a couple of feet of an outlet, you'll need to buy the 5 or 10 meter extension as the connector is proprietary.

Best clarity on the market and no lag over wifi viewing via Google Home app. Love that for one fixed annual price per property I can use the 10 day 24/7 view and 60 day history of events and as many cameras as I want.

It can be used with a set of various power accessories including two weatherproof cables with power adapter (sold separately), of 16 ft and 33 ft in length. If you find it more convenient connecting to continuous power that will keep the battery charged, which is required to get 24/7 video history if you have a Nest Aware Plus subscription, we suggest using the weatherproof cable since the included power adapter is not intended for outdoor use.

You can extend the battery life of your camera by adjusting video quality, length of video clips, time between recorded events, and using activity zones to monitor specific areas. That way, you don’t have to charge it more often than you should. You may also consider connecting your camera to a power outlet with the included or optional power adapter for continuous power and to keep the battery charged. Please note that the power adapter included with the Nest Cam (battery) is not weatherproof and not intended for outdoor use, and that’s when you can use a compatible weatherproof cable (sold separately).

Good camera, but one flaw

It's picture quality is better than many in the price range and is fairly easy to set up. The only issue I have with it, is it does not work with the Nest app. It only works with the Google Home app. I believe Google is doing away with the Net app in the future, but as of now I'd prefer to have all my Nest products in the Nest app and link it to Google home app as I did with my doorbell and thermostat. Other than this inconvenience it is a good camera overall.
