We suggest checking that lights don’t shine into the camera lens, as bright lights can delay or prevent the camera from switching to Night Vision. You can also try to reset Night Vision in the Home app. Go to your camera settings and turn Night Vision off, then turn it back on.

Google nest outdoor camera (wireless)

The battery generally lasts for 7 days after which I have to bring these down to charge . Since these are wireless cameras, would it be recommended to connect them to a cable/adapter and keep it connected to power 24* 7 ? Does best buy sell a longer power cable that can be used?

Meanwhile, you might want to consider connecting your camera to a power outlet with the included power adapter to keep the battery charged. Please note that the power adapter included with the Nest Cam (Battery) is not weatherproof and not intended for outdoor use, and you can use a compatible weatherproof cable (5 meters or 10 meters). I thought for the price point it would be faster and better than its competitors but I was very wrong. If you don't mind not knowing who is in your driveway until 30 seconds later, this is for you.
