    I purchased these for my father, he wanted something to help him feel safe and the installation was simple enough that he went out and picked up 4 more.

    Easy to mount and setup on phone was quick. The battery is good for a cordless device. Consider adding solar panel in the future.

    This product only records when it is tripped. so I'm driving into my garage and I guess I'm moving too fast as it only recorded the back half of the car. I'm sitting here now and my lawn is being watered and it is in the security zone and the cam didn't pick it up I tried to olive and it only stayed live for about 3 seconds and would not reconnect the video but I could still hear sound. So I'm going to say that this particular cam is defective, because if it isn't, its a junk product and Google should get out of Nest's business.I have 6 other Nest cams that work great. This cam is junk

      Nest camera issues can be related to several factors, and we’d be able to identify the underlying issues better if we can get more details about your concern. Meanwhile, if you're experiencing a spotty connection or weak signal, we recommend checking your Wi-Fi network to see if your bandwidth is congested. This may happen if you have too many devices connected on the same bandwidth or if your network package is not enough to handle the data traffic on the network. Removing other connected devices to your Wi-Fi may relieve network congestion. If your camera is mounted too far from your Wi-Fi router, you may need to extend your Wi-Fi network’s range using an extender, boosters or additional Wi-Fi access points. Try restarting your router to reset your internet connection. You should also restart any Wi-Fi range extenders or repeaters that you have. If these didn’t help, you may need to restart or reset your Nest camera following the steps here: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9252162

    I purchased these with the hopes of adding some security to my home. I am very disappointed with this product. The connection is absolutely horrible!! I can’t even place this outside of my house because of the connection. Even with this sitting next to my router it won’t work very good. Also you can only use the Google Home app and it is trash. I can’t view my live camera feed, but it will record video and I am able to view it. It just recently started doing this. I really should have returned this product and regret that I didn’t.

    It’s not what I expected! I could be gotten something better with the price I paid for this cameras! At night time, it looks blurry!

Night Vision video quality can be affected by internet speed and other issues. Below are some solutions to try. Check your camera’s view in the app after each one:

      - Clean the lens with a soft cloth that’s made for cleaning optics. Dust, thumbprints and dirt can cause poor image quality.
      - Turn your camera so that any nearby surfaces or objects (like a wall) are out of view.
      - Use the app to zoom and enhance, and crop out surfaces or objects that may be the cause of the glare.
      - If a bright white shape along the edge appears while everything else is too dark, there might be a surface that’s too close in your camera’s view (like a wall). Angle your camera so the surface stays out of view.
      - Move nearby objects that may reflect the infrared light.

    Nice cameras but the batteries were terrible. One didn’t hold a charge and the other one ran out too quickly to be efficient in our climate. Returned the item. Will buy hard-wired cameras.

    Works beautifully. It would have been great if it came with 2 charging cords. but after purchasing an additional cord, we were able to ensure continuous monitoring.

    Over the years i have tried many security cameras and in my opinion Nest is at the top of the list. The smart features on these cameras are amazing. I have many of these cameras protecting my property.

    Work very well. I wasn't sure what to expect with them being battery powered but they hold up good on their own and have add-ons if there are any concerns.

    Booting up of each camera takes a significant amount of time including a software update. In addition, one of the three cameras wouldn't boot up after numerous tries on multiple networks. I brought back to Best Buy and was told I couldn't exchange for a single camera and instead needed to go take down the other two and return all three. . . and then start over again. Very frustrating

    Works great. From time to time i need to make sure it is connected to my Wi-fi but there have been no issues. The magnetics are great for adhering to walls.

    Not a good product. Camera batteries only last a few weeks without being plugged in. Camera quality at nice is awful.

    Dead battery despite being plugged in 24/7

    I already know I hate the Google Home interface because it's inferior to Nest, but I got on board and purchased these to be my outdoor cameras. I had them wired the entire time, but eventually they both stopped powering on and the error says the battery is dead. Yet they are wired. They are now paperweights.

    sadly this was a wasted purchased, it does NOT work with first Gen nest.. as we still have a nest aware account we were told once we set it up that it is not compatible with our nest aware., product was returned.

    Great camera.battery only works for live feed and motion detecting, but can last for a few months. I ended up buying an adapter/power cord to keep this camera feed running 24/7
