I wished it had a wider viewing angle like the arlo Ultra 2. Facial recognition is a cool feature. Subscription service is pretty good. $12 a month for unlimited cameras.

Overall the camera is great, I just don't like the fact that Google has made a mess with the old Nest App and Google Home. They need to make up their minds on integrating all cameras be it from Nest or Google. It's a pain switching from Nest app and Google home. If you have older camera's, Google messed up on this integration for now and this was back in 8/24/2021 when I bought this and it is still a mess now.

Night view not great but I have good coverage with this over my garage door and a nest doorbells front and back all for $6 a month nest aware subscription

We have had some serious wind the last few weeks and the magnetic mount held the camera in place just fine. Video quality is not terrible, you can't expect imax quality with a 1080p camera. I like it enough that I do plan on getting another for the other side of the house when they go on sale again.

Meanwhile, there are different factors that can affect the Night Vision. Try to angle your camera away from bright lights, or to install the camera in a shady spot. You should also make sure that any nearby surfaces or objects (like a wall) are out of view, since the camera’s infrared light can reflect off a surface. Arlo takes waaaaay to long to load. By the time you get an alert and look in your app, the burglar is long gone with your TV! But in all seriousness, Google products just work and the work well and load quickly. Yes, the video quality should be 2K or better by now but with digital enhancements this camera works very well for its intended purpose.
