So theres a few pros and cons with these. The pi ture quality is great. Theyre easy to install. The battery could be better if camera gets alot of activity it seems to die faster. Its kind of ridiculous to me you pay a few hundred for a camera but the camera doesnt have all the features the camera boast without paying for a subscription. If your wifi goes out you cannot access the cameras at all but they will continue to record but you wont be able to access it till you regain wifi. Cant quite pic up the difference between a dog and a person its ability to do so was another thing boasted about when researching if these cameras were gonna be a good fit for my needs. They do the job i need them to though so could be better but definitely not the worst. They do also hold up good to the elements.

I recently installed the Google Nest Cam 3, and I'm impressed by its seamless performance and robust features. As a homeowner, I wanted a reliable security camera to keep an eye on my property, and this device delivers.
*Pros:*
- High-quality 1080p video with clear night vision
- Wide-angle lens captures more of the scene
- Motion detection alerts and customizable activity zones
- Easy setup and integration with Google Home app
- Weather-resistant design for outdoor use
*Cons:*
- No battery backup (requires constant power)
- Some users may find the subscription model for cloud storage limiting
*Overall:* The Google Nest Cam 3 provides peace of mind with its continuous recording and alert features. The video quality is exceptional, and the app is user-friendly. While there's room for improvement in terms of power backup and storage options, I highly recommend this camera for anyone seeking a reliable security solutions

I am genuinely confused as to what to rate these cameras. If you need security cameras, there are likely dozens of cameras on the market currently that are probably higher quality, better value, more features, more secure, contain more options or accessories. That kind of makes this a difficult purchase.
I purchased the three pack as I recently purchased a home that was vandalised. I had a gift card and used it to purchase these. However, even then, it was extremely expensive. When I received them, it's immediately clear that they are very good quality. Sturdy, heavy, and the magnet connecting the base to the camera is very strong.
But that's kind of it. It was strange setting them up as they don't really have any anti-theft features. I had to buy that separately from a completely different company. Once setup, I connected them to the Google Home app only to find that the actual App/Device connection is genuinely terrible. The amount of options you have in terms of notifications and alerts for people/things is a nightmare. Google should be ashamed of themselves.
For example, I can't set up a time frame of when I would want alerts. Setting home/away status doesn't do anything at all. So I am stuck with Yes Notifications or No Notifications. They advise you to create Zones which you can decide what kind of notifications you want but they never work. Now every car or person that passes by my house, even across the street, I get alerted.
This causes another major issue: awful battery. If I can't tell it to stop alerting or recording, it is constantly alerting and recording. Which means the battery, which should last a couple of months on average, is giving me maybe a week.
Overall, save your money, buy a different brand. Ring or something.

The Google Outdoor Wire-Free Camera works well and is easy to install, but its biggest drawback is the inability to rewind and review past footage without a subscription. This limitation makes it feel like just a live-view camera, which is fine for basic monitoring but less useful for reviewing events. On the positive side, the camera is sleek, wire-free, and provides a clear picture, making it a good option if you’re okay with paying extra for playback features.

These are the best cameras I have ever used. With the nest subscription being able to look at my live video for 30 days and motion for 60 days and when I have it plugged in, you can see 24 seven recording not many other cameras offer that. Super easy to use and set up. I even have multiple cameras set up at different homes and it lets you create tabs for each home and give access to each person that lives in that home without them being able to see every camera which is an amazing feature.

I could not believe the price. ADT sells these for $399 each.
They are easy to hook up and have been working perfectly. I am considering getting a more detailed subscription. They are worth it.

Cameras are great. Easy, good images, plenty of options to customize, I like that I can choose to use the nest aware service for extended recordings etc. I use their whole Google system and various devices (floodlight cams, doorbells, hubs, hub max, mini). My only issue is getting consistent notifications to my Samsung galaxy watch, which is a major point of use for me. Also, recognize that privacy with Google itself continues to grow weaker; then again, nothing is really private once you are using the internet in any way.

Love our Google cameras much more than the previous Arlo cameras that we had. Cameras are clear and work well with our Google home app and interior display. Price of the cameras along with the solar panels is quite high but worth every penny.

Quite impressed with overall ease and smoothness of the setup and installation. Previously purchased the wired version and had a requirement to add these in an area without direct power. Works easily with the strength of your WiFi. If it’s strong you can go further out. Add a solar charger and you’ll have everything you need. For complete setup and no need to take down to charge. I have had one installed for 3 weeks without a solar panel and it’s still at 70%.

Bought the 3-pack of Google Nest cameras and couldn’t be happier. Setup was quick and easy through the app, and the video quality is super clear both day and night. I love being able to check in from my phone and get alerts when there’s activity. They give great peace of mind, especially for keeping an eye on the house and packages. Reliable, sleek, and they work exactly as expected. Definitely worth it and would buy again.

I purchased these for a family member who had the unfortunate experience of dealing with a neighbor who has anger issues and I must admit, I am impressed. Google has always been my go to when it came to cameras and other such hardware but these cameras in particular provide you with a very clear view of whatever it is you are monitoring. The handy magnet mounts are perfect and the fact that they do not require a power cord makes it all the more handy. They seem to hold a charge for about a month and than you'll have to recharge them again for about four hours. Other than this, I am completely happy with my purchase.

I have been using Nest cameras to protect my home and family for almost a decade now. They even helped nab the man who stole my wifes car, and helped send him to prison for a very long time. Rain, snow, or shine, these products withstand everything mother nature can throw at them, and the picture quality stays strong.

Google cams is great. Easy set up and nice slick design. Only issue I had, was the battery. Last up to 3 months, you have fiddle with the settings. Otherwise buy extra plugs to charge into an outlet.

These are excellent cameras for the price. There is a limitation to the mounting where it works best when mounted to a wall vs. a ceiling. The setup process is very simple and the wifi works well.
