My son suggested spending the money necessary for a good quality easy to use camera. I did purchase the cord so no need for battery charging. The magnet is extremely strong. The pixel quality is great. It even picked up a cat during the night.

The wireless capability was perfect as i was installing these at a property i am flipping. It gave me the flexibility to post them without having to worry about the cord being cut. Only have had to recharge them once a week so far and that has been a major help.

Don't Buy, Doesn't Work With Nest App

I have returned both this camera pack as well as the new doorbell due to lack on integration with the Nest app and problems with battery life on these new products. Decided to go with eufy instead as they have everything I need, and excellent battery life on all products. I would NOT recommend these new Google products to anyonep.

The quality of the video depends on the available bandwidth from your internet connection for streaming live video. First One Crapped Out After 1yr, Used My Warranty, Got A New One For Free. Second One Crapped Out After 12 Days. Went To Best Buy (which they’re amazing!) & Swapped It Out Yet Again (Because It Was Still Within The 14 Day Return Window)… Got A Third New One & Craopex Out After 30 Days!!! Went Back For A Full Refund. Do Not Buy The 2nd Generation Battery Wireless Option Ones!!! They Suck…. Now I Highly Dooooo Recommend Their Wired Nest IQ 1st Generation w/ Face Recognition 4K Outdoor/Indoor Cameras!!! I Have 2 Of Those For Over 6yrs Now & Absolutely No Complaints, Except The Fact That They Discontinued Them!!!

However, our priority with this launch was building a complete experience for our new cameras and doorbell in the Google Home app. We wanted to make the Google Home app as the one place you can control all your favorite Nest and other smart home devices with the Google Assistant. Here are some benefits you can get by using the Google Home app with your Nest Cam (Battery):
- Automatic security protections, such as Suspicious activity detection, 2-Step Verification and Security Checkup.
- Your Google Nest devices and services will work together. For example, if you have a Nest Cam and a Nest Hub, just say, ""Hey Google, show me the backyard camera” to cast your camera stream to your display without any additional setup.
- One account to sign in to both the Nest and Google Home apps.
- Your homes, and home members will be aligned across the Nest and Google Home apps.
