Google Camera is the best in terms of quality and recording features. I’ve used other camera brands before, but this one really stands out. The image quality is excellent, and the sensors are truly top-notch. Recording is smooth and reliable, and overall performance has been great. I’m very satisfied with this camera and would definitely recommend it.

I have always been interested in buying a Google Outdoor Camera but I was more interested in a battery powered, wire free approach and Google didn’t offer that. Well, finally Google has released their “Google - Nest Camera Battery” and for me it is a hit! UNBOXING & INSTALL: - Taking the Camera out you realize how great of a job Google did making this. It’s modern, sleek, and nothing about it feels cheap. - It’s size is a little bigger than a baseball, so not too small but not overly large either. - Installation was super easy on this! The main thing is that this required the “Google Home” app to set up, and the app does a pretty great job helping you step by step on setting this up. - I personally set this up for outdoor use and did not hard wire it as I want to use the battery. And mounting this outside was very easy. You just need to drill two screws into the wall you were mounting it too, connect the base, and the rest is just magnets! So you can easily adjust the camera or take it off when you need to recharge it or use it somewhere else. PROS: - I know I said this, but I do really like the look of this camera. Especially since it is outside, its just nice that it isn’t an eye sore. - The picture quality really is great on this camera! Yes it isn’t perfect super high end clarity but that is the trade off for a battery operated model. But regardless I was really impressed with the video quality! You can zoom in, it has a really nice viewing angle so you can see a lot of area, and overall works exactly how I need it to. - The smart features in this are no joke. It has facial recognition for people that come around a lot, can detect cars, animals, packages, or just any motion in general. It does a really good job telling you what is happening based on what it sees. - There is no base required, its all wireless if you want it to be! For me I really like the clutter free aspect of it since some outdoor cameras require a separate indoor base to connect to. - Something I like about the magnetic base / battery is that you can easily grab the camera and move it if you want to. If you want to move the camera from your yard to your dog’s kennel or your kids playroom you can easily do that! Just nice to be able to quickly swap it around if you need to keep an eye on something that you usually don’t. CONS: - As of the time of this review, the Google Nest Camera Battery does not work with the “Nest” app. I really like the Nest app as it is clean and easy to use, and its disappointing I can’t have this camera hooked up to the Nest app. - That being said, I don’t love the Google Home app. Yes it has a lot of nice perks, but I think for the camera integration I want something more focused on the cameras as soon as I open the app, with more picture settings, and easier history viewing. But those can all be fixed with time. - The Camera does not come with an “indoor” table top mount. That is an optional accessory you buy on the side, and it just would have been nice to come with it. BOTTOM LINE: - Google finally made a well priced battery operated indoor/outdoor camera and they did it right! The camera looks high quality, the picture is great, it has a lot or smart features, works well with your existing Google Smart Home, and helps add an additional level of security to your home. I’d highly recommend the purchase because I don’t think you will be disappointed!

I love this camera. The setup is simple. The app is simple. The video and audio quality are great. And even better get it fits into my smart home seamlessly. These are the best and would recommend to anyone! Worth noting, the new and improved Gemini update offers detailed description of what the camera sees, and it's so good! It'll tell me if a delivery driver has come and dropped off a package, to being detailed enough to describe the color of vehicle that has driven by

These google cameras are the very best the picture and video quality is amazing and the audio picks up the lightest sound. The whole system including the ring door bell caught my wife cheating and won my divorce case

We have so many of these cameras and they are absolutely amazing! Highly recommend them! We use them to watch our chickens and ducks!

This is a must have. I love this device. Very easy to install took me only five minutes wireless easy to charge. The cameras are even magnetized if you want to stick them to metal surface no need to install, but the most important thing is the camera in the kitchen the kids are no longer up late at night sneaking snacks. :) lol

Great pictures. Works excellent with the solar panel. Only gripes are the lack of full video stream to review, only records events and the cold weather warnings that keep popping up. I live at 9000 ft elevation (2900m) and the cold reduces the battery life. I have had no battery issues.

Tried several other cameras for 24/7 recording. All were a disappointment. These Nest cameras allow you to scroll through every minute of recording for the last 10 days, and Nest will keep any motion recordings for 60 days. Video is awesome, and the cameras have been in the hot, humid, and rainy summer weather here in South Florida, recording without a hitch. Please note you will need to enroll in the Nest Aware Plus package for the 24/7 recording.

I have had many cameras and camera systems over the years, but I keep coming back to Nest. (No pun intended.) These cameras are bulletproof, and they just work. The Nest Aware video cloud backup is the best, allowing you to go back seamlessly to search and find video footage that you may need. Many of the other camera backups out there only take a 30-second to 1-minute backup. When things are happening, the cameras need to be recording. Period!

These camera were very easy to install and to view online in my Home app. I set up access on two phones without a problem. Our HOA, which is particular about the appearance, gave us approval within 24 hours. They are under the eaves and out of the weather, and the picture is great night and day. Now we feel more secure having this view of our yard 24/7.

Really happy with this product. It was easy to install and even easier to connect with our google nest network. It has a super clear picture and the zoom is very nice. My wife actually scared me as I walked by one and she started talking to me. lol

I have purchased a few of these and find the setup and reliability to be very good. I have purchased a third party solar charger for the one mounted on the house (need a ladder to access) and it works great too. I also have a Nest thermostat and a Nest doorbell, so it is nice to manage everything from one app (Google Home). For recording I have a yearly subscription that covers all cameras in the house. I have also used Blink and Wyze, but the apps are not as good and the integration is not as seamless. They are not the lowest price option, but in this case the quality and ease of use is worth the extra cost.

This is our third camera now. Easy to install and easy to install on your phone. I like that you can hear what someone says while monitoring them on your phone. They also can hear you talking to them clearly.

The quality is good. Obviously battery life depends on how much it's recording. Batteries seem to do great. I have some that just run on battery. You can also add an external ring with a safety lanyard for extra security. The magnet is extremely strong, both for the mount and the camera. It sticks to almost anything. There's also a solar panel that you can add for inconvenient locations that do not have power. Would totally recommend the three pack. We run seven of these cameras.

Setup at 8k feet elevation in the Rocky Mountains with dry climate and cold weather conditions, currently -5 degrees Celsius average temps, batteries showing about 4 weeks before recharging required. Must have google home app, limited features available if you’re familiar with the app.

I bought these cameras for my home, easy set up and installation. No wires! The picture is so clear I love it! I also, enjoy the detailed notification.

After over a year with Apple HomeKit cameras that were constantly offline and not working, these Google Nest cams are exceeding all expectations. The thread and matter connectivity keep these always connected and I even replaced my doorbell to the Google nest doorbell after two weeks with these cameras. Easy to mount. Picture is clear, recordings are excellent and notifications are accurate with Face recognition, package recognition, etc. Highly recommend!!!

I bought the 2 cameras as open box in excellent condition. I may be biased but this is the best camera out there. I got the wired so I could have 24/7 recording (w/ nest plus for a cost but so worth it) granted going to google home is little more cumbersome that the best app but overall I will recommend this to anyone looking for cameras to monitor their property.

The Google Nest Camera has exceeded my expectations. It was simple to set up, and the video quality is excellent, even at night. The alerts are accurate, distinguishing between people and other movements. The integration with Google Assistant is seamless, making it easy to check the camera feed on my Nest Hub. Overall, it’s a reliable security camera that’s both user-friendly and effective.
