Good camera, bad software

In order for the GOOGLE camera and my 3 nest cameras, I would have to migrate my nest cameras to the GOOGLE camera. That can be done, but have to cancel the nest subscription and buy a GOOGLE subscription at twice the cost. I returned the camera and will repostion my others.

You actually get a lot more value with the new Nest Aware subscription since it lets you pay one amount for all your Google Nest cameras in your home. This includes any new Nest camera you buy, and all your older Nest cameras, rather than paying for each camera which can be more costly. Nest was a better interface. I ended up buying Eufy by Anker. Much better price, twice the resolution and full 365 day battery? Oh, and their app is better than google home. Sorry, Ill be upfitting my house with at least 8 cams and discontinue to use the Google/Nest line of products. At this point, it's all in the name you got going for you.

The new Nest Cameras and doorbells are exclusive to the Home app because we wanted to create an integrated experience with other Google Nest speakers and displays.

Home app cannot detect

After a few hours of wasting my day fiddling with it, I ended up returning this camera. This will give me a chance to check out all the other brands.

Google has messed up the new line up of cameras.

Doesnt work in the older Nest app with my existing cameras. You can only access it in the Google Home app that has less features. I ended up returning it. In comparison i also use the Blink wireless cameras that use 4 AA and they last over a year before changing them out.

Our long term plan is to use the Google Home app as the one place you can control all of your favorite Nest and other smart home devices, as well as Google Assistant. Also, your camera could have detected a lot of activities, as the battery life will depend on factors including activity, temperature, and camera settings that you select, which can be extended by adjusting video quality, length of video clips, time between recorded events, and using activity zones to monitor specific areas.

But none received. Called their customer support and supervisor team several times and asked for help. But no one helped. Poor experience and pathetic support. Overall what a bad experience

Third camera. Needed to replace

Paid electricians to check outlets. All pointed to camera issues. Google was no help and equally save on internet that others experienced problems. Works now after getting a new camera. Not sure for how long. Would not get this camera brand again.
