When streaming from Hub Max it frequently disconnects, requiring me to manually reconnect. However, when streaming from a tablet it maintains its connection.

Reliable and Easy to Set Up

It works as designed and I didn't have to rewire my home to set it up! For me, this is a big win!

Used when some movers came to pack my house. Thanks to this camera they were caucht taking things before they realized it was there. Blends in well.

Overall a good product, the subscription is worth it. If you get a comparable system from Ubiquiti it would cost 4 times as much.

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have installed tons of Nest/Google products for clients and myself as well but this new line up is pretty disappointing the is no option for an mounted on post product, the battery life is not great, no 4k recording, and the way it deals with network upgrades is really obnoxious half the time you have to remove the camerafrom the app and factory reset the device just to get it on the new Wi-Fi. Now that being said the price is ok, the fact that it actually does run on a rechargeable battery for certain circumstances is nice, and does not require the nest app is a plus.

So now I have most of my cameras in the Nest APP and this one in the Google APP. Poor management on Googles part....

We wanted to make the Google Home app as the one place where you can control all your favorite Nest devices and other smart home devices with the Google Assistant. Here are some benefits you can get by using the Google Home app with your Nest Cam (Indoor, Wired):
- Automatic security protections such as Suspicious activity detection, 2-Step Verification and Security Checkup.
- Your Google Nest devices and services will work together. For example, if you have a Nest Cam and a Nest Hub, just say, ""Hey Google, show me the backyard camera” to cast your camera stream to your display without any additional setup.
- One account to sign into both the Nest and Google Home apps.
- Your homes and home members will be aligned across the Nest and Google Home apps.

As long as you have good wifi they do really well . Battery last about a month with high sensitivity frequent traffic . Mid sensitivity with low traffic you can get 2 months off a charge .

Can't get it to tilt down, making it hard to capture everything. If put down, it's even worse. I've done everything I can think of, moved it around, backward, forward, nothing works. And because of the magnet, there are limitations. I have two of the wired cams with no issues. Even the battery op doorbell has no issues. But this is a headache for lack of better word.

The Nest system seems to run a little slower than Arlo did, but overall for the price, build quality, ease of setup, and ongoing subscription prices this was a great upgrade. Major gripe about the 2-pack was it didn't come with 2 chargers and cables, just one set, so I got shorted and should have gotten the single pack cameras. Also, I bought some wasserstein security mounts and then found out that the nest cams came with a security cable already.
