    Terrible. One camera worked while trying to figure the right place to hang. The other camera had to be attached to magnet to find the proper location. Cams wouldn't trigger until the person was well past my vehicle. Sometimes the cams wouldn't trigger at all. 1 battery was draining really fast

      Your camera runs algorithms to process video and audio data so it can determine whether it detected something you might want to know about. If your Nest Cam (Battery) isn't able to recognize people and trigger notifications, you might have to move your camera, change your camera’s angle, or change something in the scene so that you don’t miss important activity. We also recommend getting the Nest Aware subscription and get Intelligent alerts to give you better awareness of what’s happening around your home.     There was no charging cable in the box. The package had a checklist which said cable is present . But none received. Called their customer support and supervisor team several times and asked for help. But no one helped. Poor experience and pathetic support. Overall what a bad experience

    Footage Erased After 3 hrs - Camera is Useless

    Regret this purchase. The camera works fine, but footage is only saved for 3 hrs unless you purchase an overpriced subscription, so the camera is basically useless. If someone breaks into my car overnight, that footage will be gone by morning. Unless you plan to go all in and buy a ton of these cameras, which is the only way to make the subscription price worth it, don’t bother.

    Wyze makes a better camera for $30. I have contacted Google, and they want me to pay for a new one. Nest before Google was better and would send me a new one for free. Battery life is bad, camera is never on and Google has no answers.

    This camera is a huge step backwards from the older one. Whenever I wanted to see anything on the camera I had to go into the app and turn the camera on. I did not get any alerts that there was movement or people there. If they keep these and get rid of the older cameras it looks like I will need to find a new set of cameras to use. Sad I had such high hopes for these.

      We wanted to use the Google Home app as the one place you can control all your favorite Nest and other smart home devices, and Google Assistant. It offers you a lot more benefits since you have access to Google´s security features as well. If you´re willing to try, you may set up your other Nest cameras to the Google Home app. Here´s a guide that you can follow to set up your Nest cameras on the Google Home app: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9893532

      Nest cameras determine when something moves based on how much an image changes over a short period of time. So, your camera may not send an alert if the following is true:
      - The activity is out of your camera’s field of view.
      - An object is blocking the camera’s view.
      - The camera is very far away from the activity.
      - The lighting in the scene is dim or washed out.

      To troubleshoot the issue, we recommend moving your Nest Cam (Battery) by changing your camera’s angle, or change something in the scene so that you don’t miss important activity.     I have five cameras including my door bell. If i lose the signal in my home, its a nightmare getting them back on line. I have to remove them from my phone app, take pics of the QR codes and try to hook them up again. This is a royal pain.
