Downgrade from Previous Nest Cams

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It's baffling that Google would choke their new cameras with less features than previous generation, and entirely due to software. These latest cams are NOT Nest Aware compatible so you only get a limited 3 hour history window before they delete recorded events. And no option to subscribe to a service that would allow longer storage (like Nest Aware). It neuters the entire purpose of security cameras. Why on earth would Google do this? They're missing out on revenue and already have the tech in place. As of this review date (summer 2024) the Google Home app is also pretty clunky and hard to set schedules and customize. The cameras are fine, but until they fix the software/app I would strongly recommend avoiding.

Good camera, need to buy ac cord

Decent camera

And these cameras only show up in the Google Home app along with older Nest camera's; they do not show up in the Nest app.
