Vulnerable to Wifi manipulation, but you gotta be near by to do that. probably get a glimpse before such a sofisticated theif actually knocks your wifi offline.

Nest Cam (battery) has a 130° diagonal field of view. To get the camera view you want, you have to adjust the camera’s position by hand. Use the Home app to check the camera’s view so you can adjust the position from the mounting plate if you need to. Also, the new Nest cameras and doorbell are exclusive to the Home app because we wanted to create an integrated experience with your speakers and displays. A Nest Aware subscription applies to all of your cameras, speakers, and displays in the same home structure. And you can view both your old and new Nest Cams together in the Home app. We request for your patience as we’re working on a seamless solution to create a better user experience. Meanwhile, we suggest having the latest version of the Google Home app that may improve camera playback controls to make it easier to play, pause, and navigate between events from the camera history view for cameras set up in the Google Home app.

There are some compute limitations on some versions of Chromecast that do not allow us to support this yet, but we’re aiming to add support as soon as possible as the team continuously evaluates additional features. We are considering purchasing another set. We didn't purchase the service to continously record but we do get notified for any movement and we can save the recording. It only keeps 3 hrs then deletes.
