It’s super great! I haven’t gotten into the settings of it yet but just with a basic setup it records when someone walks pass and I got it hooked up to my Alexa echo show 5 on my nightstand. I have it at the front door and you can communicate through it. The speaker on it is loud and clear and the mic is great too. I’m not looking forward to customizing it more so I’ll probably leave it as is. It comes with a white security cable also so you won’t have to buy one. I bought an extra pack of security cables not knowing that the nest comes with one.

Worst experience with these cameras. They work well in the begining and as time goes by the video quality goes to crap and the cameras stop connecting altogether. Every update released to the Home app seems to make things worse. If you dont care about security and throwing money away then these are the cameras for you. Worse is that they just jacked up the price to their subscription to habe these garbage cameras running. Worse buy of all hands down.

Had to go wireless since my kids wanted to pull out everything plugged in the room. They can’t take this one down. Liked the wired one better since I didn’t have to charge it, but my kids decided that this is the one we’re using

Tried Simply Safe and other brand, but this is the best for me since didn't need to sign up and the fact that I already have Google account. Battery last decent, but easy to take down to recharge.

I love Nest wired cameras. This battery camera was only working in 20 seconds intervals whenever there was activity which I am not crazy about. I don't have that limitation with my wired cameras. I ended up buying the electric cable to extend the length of video recordings.

Easy installation no cords to worry about. Battery life is impacted in cold weathet under 30 degeees. But sunmer is good

This Camera is great, only downfall on this is you have to recharge. If you have to buy this product, buy it with solar power attached to it, so no recharge needed. I will buy it later when I get tired of climbing the ladder.

Camera is amazing, the features really sync with the Google home app. The picture is clear and crisp

I bought this device knowing about the google home app integration and I absolutely love it. I wanted a camera that would work seamlessly with my google home network that I already have and this camera does that better than any other camera that I've tried on the market. I use this camera as a wired outdoor camera so I can't comment on battery, but I bought this camera for its AI detection and 24/7 recording feature with the nest aware subscription service ($12) and it does both very well. Nighttime detection and visibility are also pretty good for only a 1080p camera and no spotlight. Overall if you're looking for a camera that working seamlessly with google home packed with unique and helpful features and also using it in wired mode, I'd highly recommend this camera.

These are great! Easy setup, stay charged for a long time, work year-round. Easy to dismount and charge when necessary, and picture quality and sound are great!

I bought this for my backyard it works flawlessly.

Works great, only charge them every 2-3 months . The night vision works very nice, it has a speaker with the mic so you can easily talk to whom ever you see.

So my review has nothing to do with quality of the product, but everything to do with the service of Google. Ignore the name Nest on these cameras - it's all Google. You are forced to use Google Home and can not view any recorded footage on a computer. They will make you download the Nest App - but you can't use it with this device. When you first sign up they give you the option of signing up for a plan - but never bother to tell you that there are two plans to choose from. A basic plan and a plus plan. If you want to upgrade down way, per Google, they will double charge you. So you pay the $60 for the basic plan and then the $120 for the plus plan. If you don't heed my warning and buy this door bell or buy the cameras, sign up for the Plus Plan because the basic plan is garbage. I originally bought the doorbell and cameras so that I could have access to the emergency call features that are included in Nest Aware - but guess what? It refuses to verify my address, hence can't use that feature. Called Nest Support, they transferred me around five times before they said an engineer would be in touch. Weeks later, no one had gotten back with. This apparently is a common issue and Google doesn't seem in a hurry to correct this issue. So basically I'm stuck paying for and using a device I hate because per them, they don't do refunds. As for the quality of the visuals and the installation - wonderful. The picture is amazing and the installation was easy and I had no issues connecting to any of my devices. But under no circumstances would I ever, ever recommend this device to anyone due the customer service of the company.

Best cameras ever I love them they work so great. I have kids and when I got to work I can watch them from work each what’s happening in my house from anywhere
