Quality better than expected and battery life pretty good, quality not as good as the old nest cam IQs but the install and use is really easy, wish there was a way to hide the power cable, right now it’s exposed so could be cut, but also it’s battery operated so won’t cut the feed. The magnet is ridiculously strong though so it works pretty well and easy to adjust. New price point is good though

Im giving this a 4 star. It would have been 5 if it fit my purpose but not giving it a 1 because it doen't fit my need. We got this to replace the wired camera that we use to monitor my sons room. I fully charged it before use and it hasnt been a full day yet and I'm down to 60%. I like the quality & video clarity and features though. I'm taking them back because its just not for us.

The cameras are easy to use once you complete the setup. The setup has a lot of instructions and video directions are available. The images on my iPhone are very clear and easy to see.

I have several wired Nest cameras and have been wanting to add a few more to the exterior of the house where bringing power to them would be a real project. I bought this two pack and single pack and within an hour had all three mounted, connected to the app, tested and positioned. I'm impressed with the video quality and the battery life. These cameras are not recording 24/7. They only come on when motion is detected. That is how they manage the battery charge. Battery life is reported in the app where it indicates percentage and approximately how many weeks more of battery life each camera has before needing a recharge. I installed all of them on October 2nd. It's now October 23. The most active camera positioned on the driveway has 6 more weeks (71%) battery life. The other two positioned at the rear of the home still have 8 and 11 months (more than 90%) battery life. For having them up and outdoors for three weeks, the battery life is better than expected.

Good cameras with great picture with not the most amazing battery life. Good for areas with less interactions or reasons for the camera to toggle on and off. You can permantly plug these in however, which is how one of these is setup.

Oh Google. I really like these cameras. Better than other brands which I won't mention. As with everything, some little things could be improved and they would be outstanding. Setup is so easy. Battery life has been really good, even in the cold. I have one hooked to an outlet and one running on battery only.

Had the older generation nest cameras but these newer generations have better picture quality. I also love the battery options that allow up 2-3 months on a single charge if needed.

I love the ease and use on the google nest cameras. Great function and clear picture. Very easy to customize to what you want. Great video both day and night. I won’t use anything else!!

Easy to setup and excellent pictures. You should get the solar charging system if you don't like climbing latters to recharge the cameras.

We originally wanted 2 cameras but since there was a sale for 3 we spent a little extra. 2 are mounted outdoors and we kept the other 1 indoor to monitor the dog when we leave her alone. If she starts to bark or howl due to loneliness, we can talk to her on our phone app which gives her reassurance. The cameras are very clear on our phone app and we can also hear very well. It's a great product that took little installation.

Quality on the cameras is amazing! Easy set up & accessibility when I'm not home are part of the reasons why i went with the nest products.

Picture is nice and the app is okay. Cant hear audio during playback in the app and audio doesnt reach as far as other cameras out there (when i can actually hear it). For the amount I paid for these i would expect better.

Easy to use and setup. Definite improvement from previous security cameras. Would definitely recommend these cameras to other perspective customers.

Great camera. Notification are crazy fast. Yeah you don’t get 24/7 on battery and no charger to not 4K. This is a battery camera. It would not sel well if the battery lasts a day because it records 24/7. It always records events. If you don’t get a notification of close events.. it still records them. Facial recognition is leaps ahead of the last gen.. which I liked a lot. I have a metal fence and I tested out live view. I walked where me head poked out and i got a notification within 1 second that a person was detected (not exagerated. Only disappointment is the sole panel isn’t released yet. Highly highly recommend. If you want a cheap unreliable.. because I have all these get blink or ring.. I’m phasing out my blink and ring. This camera is great.. can’t wait for the nest spotlight to replace my ring spotlight.. Side not- the low rating of this is due to people not comprehending what a battery camera.. when using battery is….

Good but not great. I love the Google products but I have the previous generation outdoor Nest cameras and they perform better than these. Perhaps I just need to keep them plugged in instead of the wireless option. The Nest App is better instead of the new Google Home app, which doesn’t give you a preview of the video, you have to open the app and view the clips.

Needs more battery life because I've had it for less than a year and have had to charge them about 8 times already. They also get knocked off line easily for no apparent reason. Great quality and viewing range.
