Standard Google outdoor battery camera. Excellent images.. Voices are clear with no excess noises like on a ring camera. Google products.. Can't go wrong

Was kinda skeptical about how these would work out doors during the winter, but they did great! Awesome product! Well definitely use google products for home security going forward.

I highly recommend this battery Google Nest camera. The battery when fully charged will last months and it is so easy to set-up. Provides exceptional quality video and history with Nest aware.
I would recommend this to a friend

No color video at night, and "live view" is iffy

Very disappointed. I have 1GB Wi-Fi speed. I bought this camera a few days ago. I am very disappointed. It is problematic trying to get a live view once battery percentage drops below 70. Also, at night, the video feed is in BLACK AND WHITE, even though there is a bright porch light somefour feet away!!! (What is up with that?) I have a Ring Doorbell located three feeet away; it has no problem providing clear colr video. I am searching for a different camera, as I will probably retun this pathetic device.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

They are a lot bigger than I thought, and pretty bulky, but will get the job done. The magnet on them is very sturdy.

I own all google products and never had a problem with any of them till i bought these. All three refuse to connect to the wifi. Reset and tried multiple times. Called google and that was useless. Called starlink and that was useless. I have done everything that was suggested while trying to research and find a solution with no luck. Supoosed to be an easy setup and its been anything but such.
Hey there, Danatpap. Sorry to hear you’re running into connection issues while setting up your Nest Cam (Battery). Here’s some troubleshooting tips to get your device connected:
1. Make sure you have the latest version of the Google Home app or Nest app to get the latest features and bug fixes. 2. Your main router sometimes has a better connection than your network extenders. Also, if your camera tries to connect to an incompatible extender, it can experience connection issues. 3. Restart your router, modem, and any Wi-Fi range extenders or repeaters that you have.

Read lots of commentary about battery life. Battery life is fine… been using them for weeks and both batteries are still at 70% or better. Video quality and face recognition are excellent.
