You won't ever have to worry about missing any events as these videos and clips are all saved onto the Cloud. All these features can be viewed and controlled at the tip of your fingertip using the Google Home App.

We have had some serious wind the last few weeks and the magnetic mount held the camera in place just fine. Video quality is not terrible, you can't expect imax quality with a 1080p camera. I like it enough that I do plan on getting another for the other side of the house when they go on sale again.

Here are some steps you can try out that may be helpful with the issue:
- Ensure that all your devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Check for possible congestion in your network. You can verify this by disconnecting some of the devices that are connected to your network. You may then check if you will be able to see all your Nest cameras on the Home app.
- Check for possible sources of interference. The thick walls and the different appliances in your home may affect the Wi-Fi signal between your devices and router. Ensuring that there are no sources of signal interference will help improve the signal strength for your Nest cameras.

Google screwing things up again
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Google screwing things up again. I wish I had known that these "NEST" cameras don't work with 'Nest'. Seriously. You cannot view these in the Nest app or on the Nest website. The only way you can view or manage them is in the poorly designed Google Home app. There is no way to view them online; only on the app on your phone.

Our long term plan is to use the Google Home app as the one place you can control all your favorite Nest and other smart home devices, and the Google Assistant. In the near future, we’ll allow users to set up previous Nest devices and have full control in the Home app. Also, here are some benefits you can get by using the Google Home app:
- Automatic security protections such as Suspicious activity detection, 2-Step Verification and Security Checkup.
- Your Google Nest devices and services will work together. For example, if you have a Nest Cam and a Nest Hub, just say, ""Hey Google, show me the backyard camera” to cast your camera stream to your display without any additional setup.
- One account to sign into both the Nest and Google Home apps.
- Your homes and home members will be aligned across the Nest and Google Home apps.

The only problem I have is that the camera only stays on for 20-30 seconds then shuts off. I have turn camera off then back on again to get to work. That sucks.
