Forced to create a Google account to get full use

Not happy with that, so I am not paying for Nest-Aware even though I would like to have it.

Migrating your Nest account to a Google account provides you with the security features not available with simply having a Nest account. You also get the benefits of integrating your Nest devices with Google´s advanced ecosystem using the Google Assistant.
