Customer Ratings & Reviews

So far, really love the camera. Took a little longer than the 60seconds advertised, but that was mostly because of logistics of placing the camera where I wanted it. The o my thing that it is missing is a pan/tilt feature to scan the area like other cameras, but the fish-eye lens does a great job with the area!

Holy moly guacamole, this little camera was a breeze to set-up and the quality, amazing!!

Love this product. We use in our twin sons nursery and loved the easy installation setup and quality.

We are extremely pleased with our Nest Camera. Excellent picture quality and very easy to take on the road. Would highly recommend!

I have some Lorex webcams. They are very good. Both NEST and Lorex recover well from the wi-fi being interrupted. That's important if you're away and can't reboot the webcam. The NEST has a stunningly clear wide angle view that puts the whole room in view. Both work well in the dark, too. The NEST app is far far more responsive than Lorex PING app. The Lorex will record events to a local SD card, but playback remotely is iffy and very slow. NEST is outstanding and fast, but costs $10 a month. That's a lot, but it very stable and fast.

The Nest cam is the epitome of affordable home security. Nest makes it incredibly easy to monitor your home with their app. Not only is their app simply set up for easy use, but it allows for a wide range of functions. The camera itself has an incredible sound receiver that even alerts me if a sound is heard in a nearby room! The camera also notifies me through email when movement is detected, which is a great tool for someone like me who isn't always near their phone. I would definitely recommend this home security camera!

Great video quality, easy and fast configuration, very complete and dynamic software and a plus... great design in the hardware itself!!

I'd give it 3.5 stars if I could. What I like - the video quality is above average. Image quality is just OK, but the video playback is smooth. What I don't like - the notifications are delayed. This has more to do with the Nest Aware service than the camera itself, but it's fair to at least mention it. Ring's notifications come through so much quicker than Google/Nest's. I'd probably go in a different direction if I looking to add my first camera.

Very easy to set up and watch, whenever you want! Nice wide angle viewing and good night vision.

The video in low light or regular light is pretty fantastic in my eyes. The alerts are great and work well. Setup was pretty easy as well.

Great picture quality and easy to use. Immediately notification through your phone Great quality in night time mode

this camera is great, good picture, easy to set up, ability to talk over video. The problem is that if you want to store any video, its a cloud subscription per month.

This camera was perfect to keep an eye on not only my new office, but my kittens that I got to make sure they weren’t being sneaky. The mic comes in handy when you do catch them doing something they aren’t supposed to be.

The cameras are extremely easy to set up. Good quality. The app is very simple. Love the fact you can talk through them!

Great security camera, easy to install and view footage with the nest app. Only downfall is the price for video history.

We this is the fifth Nestcam we have installed in our home. Installation and set up is very easy and the image quality is excellent.

This is really a great product: it's sleek, it's sturdy, it's unassuming, and the quality and clarity are amazing. I named this camera Floaty because it was the camera we used that traveled the house: watching the dog in the garage, watching the cats outside on the patio (when the weather was nice), in my elderly mom's room when were were away for a little while. Oh, and that it's magnetized was a nice feature too.

I've bought 8 of these in the last 3 years for 4 different properties...and absolutely love them! The base is magentic, which makes it great to stick to certain inconspicuous places. The 1080p video quality is pretty good. I don't like the nightvision if there absolutely no lights in a given location (the Nest outdoors camera does flawlessly)-but that is why this is an indoor camera. I definitely recommend it.

This is a great camera; easy to setup easy to use. Picture quality is excellent just like the outdoor version. Glad I bought it.

Great camera with surprisingly good picture. It is easy to set up and use. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I wish I could save video to a drive instead of paying a monthly fee.
