It was incredibly easy to set up, and I've enjoyed being Abel to check on it from anywhere. You don't need a storage plan unless you want to keep the history logged for longer than 3 hours.

Scan a QR code and follow the instructions in the google jome app. Takes about 5 mins and a media novice can set them up.

A range issue or wireless interference can affect the performance of your camera. Sometimes it may pass the connection test during setup, but will struggle to stay connected if you're experiencing a spotty connection or weak signal. We recommend checking your Wi-Fi network to see if your bandwidth is congested. This may happen if you have too many devices connected on the same bandwidth or if your network package is not enough to handle the data traffic on the network. These few steps may also help:
- Turn off other devices connected to your WiFi that may relieve network congestion.
- You can also try restarting your router to reset your internet connection. You should also restart any Wi-Fi range extenders or repeaters that you have.

This one works as well and has the additional smart features to detect people and animals. So far its been great.

I use google home app for about 20 google and various products and this just smoothly added to the app. The cameras section is easy to use and the history feature is great.

The google home app works with iPhone and Samsung. I have not tried other brands to compare. The picture in light is clear. I zoom by pinching the screen. Get notifications that a person is there. Wireless is not a problem.

There are different factors that can affect the Night Vision. Try to angle your camera away from bright lights, or to install it in a shady spot. You should also make sure that any nearby surfaces or objects (like a wall) are out of view, since the camera’s infrared light can reflect off a surface. It's very sensitive and you can set up a lot of different controls over what it alerts to. The microphone is phenomenal. You can hear a whisper from across a room. We installed one to test it and have gotten 2 more. For the money its a stellar product.

Great Indoor Cam for the Price!

The only thing to make this cam better is for Google to fully integrate the older cams to work on the Google Home app rather than the Nest app so that all cams can be in one place. This cam cannot be setup or monitored using the Nest app.
